At first you may think, how? How are we Purple Guy if his name is Vincent and your name is Jeremy? Well let me tell you, Vincent is the murder of the five kids so he's probably wanted by the police. He could have illegally changed his name to cover up for his murders and/or to not be noticed by the police. There is also another theory that Marionette is the mother of one of the children murdered. Vincent was in a Freddy suit when he murdered the kids, which would explain why Marionette doesn't stop for the mask. This would also explain why the animatronics, possessed by the kids, would come after you.
