BLEEP BLOP BLOOP

♥Harry's POV♥

We walked.

We walked until we came across a gas station, where there were two kids who went by Cookie and Jacob. They were sitting by the front door, Cookie had a bat.

"Keep walking, don't look at them." Louis ordered.

"Do you know anything about them?" I whispered.

"Yes, I tutored Cookie, he's a royal twit." Louis muttered.

We didn't say anything else, we just kept walking with our heads down. I tried to focus on my black, beat up converse and I found myself walking closer to Niall. I wasn't too sure how Niall would help, he would run at the first sign of trouble, but being close to a friend helped me believe that maybe all of this would be a funny dream.

"Hey!" I looked up and Cookie and Jacob were walkign towards us.

"Where do you think you're going princess?" Jacob asked Louis.

"To the power plant. What's it to you?"

Cookie smacked the bat in his palm. "Nuthin'."

"Good, then we'll be going." I said and grabbed Louis' and Niall's hand and dragged them away after me.

"Hey! We ain't done here yet." Cookie yelled, his face painted red.

"What do you need?" Louis asked sassily.

Cookie started talking, but I was only focused on Louis, as he slowly but surely inched very close to my neck. I felt his hot breath as he whipsered incedibly quiet and barely moving his lips, "When I say run, run."

I passed the message on to Niall in the same matter.

Cookie kept rambling on about God knows what. "RUN!" Louis screeched, Niall and I spun on our heels and took off towards the Power Plant.

"What the hell?!" Cookie screamed.

"Let's get 'em!" Jacob yelled.

I didn't hear anything after that. We ran at full speed, until we realized we weren't being chased. So, we stopped to catch our breath.

"The Crown Plaza is right up that hill," Louis started, "I don't think we're going to be able to make it to the Power Plant before dark, maybe we should just crash there for the night."

"Agreed." Niall stated.

Louis and Niall started walking before I could give my opinion, it's not like it mattered, though, I was already outnumbered.

When we arrived at the Crown Plaza, we took the stairs and checked every room until we found one with the door wide open. It was a large suite with two bedrooms.

"Boys' room!" Niall yelled, walking to one of the bedrooms, I instantly heard him snoring as the door closed.

Louis laughed. "I'm guessing by 'boys' room' he means for you and him. Goodnight, Harry." He turned and walked into the other room.

I could never get used to him saying my name.

From former camping trips, I knew that Niall talked in his sleep, especially when he was under stress, so I stepped out on the balcony and sat on the bench. The view was absolutley stunning. I could see just about everything. It took my mind off of everything for a minute, only a minute though. I just didn't understand anything. First, the light. Now, this.

I remember the first time the light happened. It was before that night I was alone in my room. I was seven, my mom and my step-dad were down stairs, fighting loudly. Gemma was gone so it was just me. I got scared and I remember going down stairs to make sure my mom was okay. My step-dad pushed her, and I got mad and terrified, and before I knew what was happening, my hands were out and pushing at nothing when a burst of green light erupted from my hands. It burned my step-fathers hand, and he freaked out calling the police. When they came he started yelling about how I burned him, but my mom just explained he fell on the stove. My mom never talked about it after that, I tried to bring it up sometimes, but she always waved it off as if it were nothing.

I snapped back into reality when I heard the balcony door being opened. I didn't bother to look because by the noise of Niall's loud snores and mumbling, I knew it was Louis.

He didn't say anything as he sat next to me, so I took it as a sign not to say anything either.

A couple minutes later Louis spoke, "You know, my family has always been super religious."

I nodded.

He wrapped his arms around his knees. "When I was little, I was home alone a lot. My dad was always at work, because my mom and him were having a lot of problems. My mom was always off with Lottie when she was younger, trying to take her to therapy and this crazy stuff. So, when I came home from school, I was alone. One time, I was so sick of being alone, that I prayed and prayed that I would never have to be alone again. The next day, I was alone again. I told my mom that God didn't answer my prayers, but then she said that God always answers our prayers, but sometimes not in the way we want."

I didn't really understand why he was telling me this and I didn't know what to say. So, I just nodded.

Louis chuckled. "Sorry, I'm not sure why I'm telling you all of this. I mean, you barely know me. I guess now, I just feel alone and confused. I'm not used to the feeling of being confused. I'm in AP Physics and I just don't understand how any of this happened. I truly don't and I hate this feeling of being alone and confused."

"I'm used to feeling alone and confused." I mumbled.

"How so?"

"I don't know, I guess ever since my dad left, I just feel alone. I mean, Niall is my only friend and he's been my only friend for as long as I can remember. When he wasn't at school, I ate lunch in the bathroom for crying out loud. I'm always conffused because weird things have been happening and I don't know how to control it."

Louis didn't respond. We sat in silence for awhile longer.

"I really like you, Harry. I think we're going to be good friends." Louis smiled.

I smiled back.

"Goodnight, Harry." Louis got up and started back in.

"Night, Louis."

I sat on the balcony smiling like an idiot for awhile longer before going back inside and crashing on the couch.
