Chapter 1

Keep running. Dont stop. Somethings back there. 

I jump over a bush and make contact with the ground. I scream in frustration and quickly get up only to see some blurs and feel a sharp pain on my side. I gasps loudly and hold my hand over the hurt spot. I start breathing heavy. I look to my left and see blurry glowing eyes. Everything slowly starts getting darker and darker.

Is she gonna make it? This is a guys voice.

I dont know. Shes showing signs of waking up. WIggling her toes or fingers. This is a womans voice.

I istantly wiggle my fingers but i can move anything else. 

We cant take her in The males voice again.

This must be a conversation between a female and a male.

We have to. Im the alpha here. We cant leave here. She wont know whats going on. Shes your age. Do you want her to get involved with Liam or you?

 I want to live. Having a newbie.Really??

You know everybody said the same thing about you. But i gave you a chance and you proved them wrong.

Yeah but this is different, shes a girl.

Im a girl. 

I slowly try to open my eyes. There heavy but i manage to move them. I take a deep breath and push my eyelids open. I see a Male and older female infront of me. I quickly move back and stare at them. I look around and start to panic.

" Where am i? Who are you? What happened. "

The female says " Calm down. I found you in the woods. You were bitten. Your life is going to change so much. "

I quickly look at the boy. My eyes go big and i breath heavier.

I say " Bitten? Bitten by what. What are you talking about."

The boys says " Im Brett. Im going to explain this to you. "

I say " Where am i? "

He says " You safe."

I look into his eyes and i nod. For some reason i feel safe. 

I say " Whats going on. "

He takes a hold of my hand. I look down and stare.

He says " Where at your new home. When you were out in the woods. Did you feel a pain in your side? "

I feel my side with my free hand. I quickly lift my bloody shirt up and see theres nothing there. 

I say " How did you know? "

He says " There was something there. It healed." 

I say " How did it heal so fast. "

He says " Because your like me now. "

I look at him and he has shining eyes. Bright yellow. I gasps and back away  from him into the corner and off the bed. My heart races and my body starts to shake. He slowly starts to come in my direction with normal eyes.  I just push myself harder against the wall. He comes close enough to touch.  I touch his cheek and quickly pull my hand away at how warm he is. 

I say " No no no im not like you. I cant do that. Stay away from me please. "

I turn my head to look away from him. He makes me look back at him slowly. I meet his eyes. 

He says " You cant yet but you will. You have to learn how to. Change on the full moon. Im still learning as well. See we can learn together. How to shift and how to fight. " 

I say " Why am i supposed to trust a stranger? "

He says " Because if you dont, and you go out there. If you shift and find the wrong people. Your dead. Theres hunters out there, Theres bad groups out there, There a lot of things out there. "

I say " Shift? "

He says " Into a werewolf. "

I say " I dont know what your talking about. "

I shake my head. 

He says " Whats your name? "

I say " Hope. "

He says " Come on lets go get you dressed. "

He holds out his hand and stands up. I look at his hand for a moment and slowly take it. He helps me up and the old lady smiles at me. I slightly smile back and follow this Brett kid. We go into a new room and i sit on the bed slowly. I take a deep breath and smell many different smells. It smells like a teenage boy, and blood.

He says " The blood smell is your shirt. "

I say " How did you know? "

He says " I can smell it to. "

I say " Oh. "

I look down at my now red Blink182 shirt. My favorite shirt. Something gets tossed at me and i quickly catch it. I look down at it and its a shirt. 

He says " Its mine. Its the smallest thing i could find. "

I say " Thanks. "

He hands me some shorts. I look around.

He says " Ill leave. Take your time. Theres a shower in there."

He points to a door. I nod and he leaves out the main door. He shuts it and i quckly move to the shower. I open the door and set the clothes down on the sink. I look at myself in the mirror.

 Gross. I thought.

My hair is madded to the scalp, it has blood and leaves in it.  My face is just eww. Theres make up around my eyes, a sratch on my cheek, and a purple spot above my eye. My clothes are tore up and dirty with blood all over them.

I walk over to the tub and start running a shower. I strip my clothes and hop in. I get everything off and look okay. I turn the water off and grab a town off the sink. I dry myself off and change into the cloths that were given to me. I walk out of the bathroom leaving my clothes and towel in a small pile. I walk down a hallway and here someone start talking. 

" Theres one more the normal. Meaning someones there. What if its human. '

"So what we save it. Theres no way a human would be in there for no reason. Eithere there keeping it hostage or they dont know. "

I say " Hello? "

" Now. "

I hear a crashing sound. I look all around and see nothing.

" HOPE RUN!! "

I lok around and see a window. I quickly open it and jump out of it landing on my feet. I take of running knowing theres someone behind me.
