⚠️WARNING-  SLIGHT ABUSE ⚠️

Loud smashing sounds could be heard behind her scratched door.

Yelling, cursing, and screams of pain.

Celestial sat on her bed, her head hid between her knees as she tried to not make a sound.

This was common in the Holmes household. The yelling, drunken slurs and her mothers pale skin turning black and blue. Her dad smashing beer bottles over her head, banging on Celestials locked door trying to reach her too.

But Celestial knew better than to open the door. She kept it locked until he finally broke the door down or punched a hole through it to curse at her, spit flying from his mouth. He rarely ever makes sense, but it still has Celestials heart beating as fear crawled up her spine settling into a knot in her stomach.

She is a cold person, but is terrified of her dad and mom. Even if she's a cold person, she still has emotions. Most people forget this.

She could hear his thundering footsteps as he came up the stairs. She curled into the smallest ball possible and sobbed fearfully into her knees.

"Open the fucking door!" She heard the slurred words as his fists pounds on the door.

He's making sense this time. And while most people would think it's a good thing, it's most definitely not. If he's making sense, it's worse.

"No!" She shouts back, climbing to her feet and toward the window.

"Open the damn door!" He shouts again, the pounding becoming louder.

Her socked covered feet just touch the houses roof before a loud bang is heard behind her and the familiar fiery pain erupts in her scalp.

"You bitch!" He shouts, bud fist colliding with her face. Her body falls backwards and her head collides with the wall.

Her vision becomes blurry but she manages to get up on her feet to stumble from the room with a furious man behind her.

"Come back! I'm not done with you yet!"

She runs down the stairs, skipping most of them and running through the living room. Her crying mother with a bloody nose, cuts on her arms, and a black eye is crouched in the corner with her hands over her head.

Normally, Celestial would have helped her. Not this time. Not after what she's done.

She continues running past her and out of the house into the cold night.

She knows her dad wouldn't come out, it's too cold.

Her long t-shirt hangs down to her knees and her baggy pants make a ruffling sound from the wind. Her dark hair flowing over her shoulder as she runs under the numerous street lights, not caring about her lack of shoes.

Once she makes it to the bustling town, blending straight in, she calms down.

His breathe comes out, circling through the cold air as he adjusts the gun, his eyes on the target in the crowd.

'You good, Agent K?' His partners voice comes through his ear piece and he rolls his brown eyes.

"Good, and stop with the 'agent k' shit, dumbass." He mutters under his breathe, knowing Jason heard him. His Italian accent shining through.

'Alright, Kier." Jason replied, laughing.

Just as Kier is about to shoot, his eyes land on a dark haired girl with bright blue eyes and tanned skin.

Bang!

~

Bang!
Thud.

Screams irrupted around me as the man directly beside me was shot. Right between the brows a hole lays in his forehead.

While everyone was freaking out, screaming, crying, and calling the ambulance even though he's dead. I was looking around.

My eyes caught a shadow on the building across the street. I narrowed my eyes as the shadow vanished.
My head turned back to the man laying on the ground before I pushed my way through the crowd, keeping my head low and eyes focused on the man now coming out of the same building.

A black mask covers the bottom of his face, his skin is tan. He wears a black hoodie covering his hair, but I can clearly see his deep brown eyes. He walks with confidence and ease.

He looks over and our eyes meet for a few seconds before I turn the corner.

~

'Who was that?' Jason asks, no doubt seeing the mysterious girl in the cameras.

"No clue. Figure it out for me, will ya?" He rips out the earpiece, crushing it under his foot and hops in his car, driving away.
