Chapter Nine

God! Why do I always have the bad luck?! Diana just told Isabel that she was a long time friend. I know that this wasn't going to end well.

"So...." Diana started. "How did a rich girl like you ended up with a guy like Michael?" She smirked and Isabel blushed as she felt uncomfortable.

"Um... well.......he asked me......" She giggled.

"Well obviously but how did you meet him?" Diana asked crossing her arms as she stared at Isabel then to me. I widened my eyes for Diana to stop asking stupid questions.

"Well he actually works for....for my dad." She was hesistant to answer.

"Your dad? Oh you mean that you're actually Michael's boss?" She laughed. "Well isn't that a twist in Fifty Shades of Grey."

"Hey. So Diana isn't somebody calling you?" I cut in.

"Oh. Always." She smirked and just chuckled as if it happens to her all the time. "So tell me Michael......I see you still have my necklace......." I covered it quick with my jacket. Isabel looked at me confused. "I thought you said you were going to pawn it."

"It's not real gold just like you." I said out of no where. Her eyes widen and stepped back as she scoffed.

"You don't have to be rude. Okay? Dame. And that is real gold." She protested.

"Uh.....no it's not." I shook my head at her. I took it to the pawn shop.

"Well I want it back then. You don't appreciate fine jewelry." She said while putting her hand out and looking away without a care in the world.

"Oh it's jewelry alright but it ain't fine." I pulled it off and threw it at her making her gasp as she was feeling disrespected.

"Fuck you Michael." She snapped.

"Excuse you!" Isabel finally confronted. "Who gave you the right to talk to my man like that?! I dare to talk to him like that again!" People looked at us and was about to be prepared for a catfight or something. Diana just laughed and looked around while placing her hands on her sexy hips.

"Who the fuck do you think you're talking to? You're in my hood now bitch! Not Beverly Hills." She stated.

"Bitch? I'm not a bitch. I'm the bitch." She snarled. "Now I'm gonna tell you this again puneta (bitch)....." The party ooed. "Step off before I break you like the twig that you are." Diana was about to slap Isabel until she punched Diana in the facebreaking her nose and twisting her around making her crash on the floor. "Come on baby." Isabel told me over the cheers and smirked. "Let's go get a drink."

I laughed and grabbed her by her waist and dragging her to the kitchen.

"Where the hell did you learn to fight like that?" I asked her and chuckled.

She just laughed and blushed as she shook her head no not wanting to tell me where she got her skills from.

"I'm nervous to tell."

"Oh come on beautiful. Just tell me. I'm dying to know where you learned how to throw a sucker punch like that." She laughed and bit her lip then covered her face.

"My dad taught me how knock somebody out uncncious. So I was being nice to Diana when I just broke her nose." She giggled. "He taught me how to defend myself ever since I was little. This was before we ever became rich and famous."

"So you know what it's like to have a normal life?"

"I sometimes miss my normal life but every time I go back to my old neighborhood.......everybody treats me different and they told me that I don't belong there anymore."
