Big News

Averys POV

I woke up with a massive headache. I look to my right to see a glass of water and pills. I took the pills and drank the water. I don't really know what exactly happened last night, but the memories are slowly starting to come back to me.

Crap. I just realized that I got so drunk last night that I exposed both of my siblings to my father. Omg my father came home. He knows what I did. Im gonna be in so much trouble.

I decided to get dressed and ready for the day before I get in trouble. It's not even the end of the world though if I get punished because the worst my dad will do it suspend my credit card for like a week.

I decided to wear a black and white checkered skirt with a red sweater, matched with a gucci belt. I paired it with a pair of black heels and a black headband. I go into the bathroom, wash my face and brush my teeth. I then go to my vanity and do my makeup. I decided to go with a natural eye look followed by a red lip.

All I know is that if I get punished, I'm gonna get punished in style.

I had walked down towards the dining room. I felt a rush of nerves come as I approached the dining room. I took a deep breath and then walked into the dining room to come face to face with my family except for Fallon.

Avery- Good morning family.
Steven- Morning
Sammy- Wow. It seems as if you hadn't gotten drunk last night.
Cristle- Sammy Jo let's not bring that up right now.
Blake- We'll talk about that later. I have business to take care of that's more important than your stupidity.
Avery- Okay.
Fallon was no where to be seen at breakfast. I just took my seat next to Steven and across from Cristle. She just gave me a sympathetic smile as I sat down.

As I began to eat the fruit that was on my plate we all hear the door slam open. In struts Fallon with a big smirk on her face. This ought to be good.

Fallon- Hello Daddy.
Blake- What has you all happy?
Fallon- Well you see I knew how angry you are with me for what I did with the driver.
Blake- So?
Fallon- So I'm also angry with you for not giving me the promotion.
Steven- And you happy because?
Fallon- I have big news!
Blake- And that is?
Fallon- I have started my own business with the help of Jeff Colby.
Blake spits out the coffee that he had been drinking due to the shock of the news he has just received from his eldest daughter Fallon.
Blake- So you're just gonna leave you families legacies to work with a Colby.
Fallon- That's the plan
Blake- The Colbys are snakes. You working with a bunch of snakes.
Fallon- Well clearly if I kept working for you I would be working with a bigger snake.

My father, Blake, was so. avery with Fallon that he stormed out of breakfast and into his office where he would remain for the rest of the day.

I'm not sure how I feel about Fallon doing this, but I do enjoy that dads no longer mad and me and I will get to have my credit card still. So for once I'm happy that the attention isn't focused on me.

Fallon- Well I have to go meet up with Jeff so I'll see you all later.... maybe.
And with that Fallon had left and it was just Steven, Sammy Jo, Cristle, and me left.

Sammy Jo- I'm going to go too. I have some business to take care of as well.

Steven- I also have work to do and calls to take so I'll see you around.

Then both boys left the table and both went their separate ways.

Cristle- So Avery, what's your plans for today?
Avery- I was originally expecting to be in trouble and possibly grounded, but since Fallon shared her news, I'm now off the hook.
Avery- So I guess I don't have anything I planned to do.
Cristle- Well I don't either, I was thinking maybe we can have a girls day and get to know each other better.
Avery- That's sounds fun. Thanks Cristle.
Cristle- Oh, your welcome.
She sounded a little upset when she said that. I'm not really sure why though. (What you don't know is that last night you called her mom, and she was really happy that you thought of her that way.)

Cristle- Well let me go make plans for this to happen. I'll make a schedule and then I'll come find you.

And with that she left the table and went off to her room.

Anders then entered the dining room to come clean up the breakfast mess.

Avery- Hey Anders?
Anders- Yes?
Avery- When I was talking to Cristle she seemed upset. I don't know why though.
Anders- Well what did you say?
Avery- The exact words I said were "Thanks Cristle"
Anders- Now I know.
Avery- What do you mean you know? All I said was thanks.
Anders- Last night you called her mom. And it made her extremely happy, so when you said her name it upset her.
Avery- I called her mom?
Anders- Yes.
Avery- I feel bad now, but I don't think I'm ready to call her that especially since my last mother wasn't a good one.
Anders- Just go talk to her.
And that's what I did. I walked up to her bedroom door and knocked on it. She opened it up and let me in. We both sat on the two chairs in her room by the fireplace and I began to apologize to her.

Avery- I'm sorry
Cristle- For what?
Avery- For upsetting you.
Cristle- You didn't upset me though.
Avery- Yes I did. I called you mom last night and then this morning I called you Cristle.
Cristle- Oh you remember that?
Avery- Not really, but I asked Anders and he told me.
Cristle- Well it's okay, I forgive you.
Avery- It's not that I don't want to call you mom, it's just that I'm not ready just yet.
Cristle- Well I'll be ready whenever you ready.
Avery- I will one day. It's just my real mother was never there for me and she wasn't a good mother. And I know your not like that.
Cristle- Well I'll be waiting.
Avery- Thanks, and I promise it will happen once I get over the gate I have for my other mother.
And with that we both hugged. It felt nice. My actual mother never hugged me. I was used to being raised by other people like Anders. My mother didn't want to waste her time or energy on me, she thought it would cause her wrinkles.

I'm happy though. At least she isn't mad and me and values my time and thoughts. She really does care about me.

Cristle- Lets start girls day now.
We both got into the car to be driven to the spa. by none other than Culhane. I want gonna bring it up but I couldn't help but smirk knowing that my assumptions about him and my sister were always right. Heya can I say, never doubt Avery Carrington.

Stevens POV

I didn't really have as much to do as I said I did, but I just didn't want people to realize how stressed I was. Sammy Jo said he has to leave to take care of business. He just moved here how can he already have business?

Is Sammy Jo cheating on me!??!?!?!?
