Lightspeed and Darkspeed are racing down the highway at super sonic speeds and halfway down the highway, they skid to a stop and bring out their swords.
Darkspeed's sword is made of black lightning that is always crackling. And the lightning basically outlines the actual sword.
Lightspeed unfortunately only has a normal, metal katana. Even though he has the disadvantage, Lightspeed still gets completely knocked out and his sword breaks in half.
Dave wakes up a few hours later in his own bed, and wonders why he's not in Texas.
"Eh. Another mystery for another time." Dave says as he walks out to go and watch some YouTube.
While watching it, he stumbles across a video about a gem out there called the lightning shard. It's a blue clear fragment from the Lightning gods's throne and only one who can control Lightning can pick it up and not die.
"The lightning sha-" Dave says as he transforms. His hair turns into a light blue with blue lightning crackling a bit, and his iris glows a bright blue. He is now known as Super Lightspeed.
Darkspeed also finds out about the Lightning shard and demands to find out where it is located.
