"i hope she okay" khelani said

"CAN I PLEASE SEE MY FUCKING SISTER!" i yelled at front desk lady as i pace back and forth

"nari calm down she will be alright" grandma said

"what the hell happened?" dad asked

"well earlier this morning she was throwing up i guess was she sick but she told me she was fine" babyjoe said

"sick?" mom asked

i do not want to tell them liyah pregnant i just don't think it's the right time even though it's kinda is but i don't want her to be mad at me i'll rather wait till she tells them herself

"Family of Nakaliyah Carter?" the doctor said walking up to us

"yes" we said unison

"well i just wanted to inform you that nakaliyah is 3 months pregnant and that she had an vertigo which caused a spinning sensation in her head that made her faint it is a common symptom during pregnancy she is alright all she needs is some rest and foods that will keep her hydrated, you can come see her in room 253." the doctor said before walking away

i looked over and saw my parents and brother face they looked so disappointed.

"pregnant?" babyjoe asked shaking his head

"not lil laylay" 3three said

"did you know about this?" mom asked looking at me

"um.. uh-no i- yeah...." i said dryly

"mane i'm finna go i'll see y'all back at the house" babyjoe said

"wait so you not gonna come with us to see her?" ben asked

"the doctor said she alright! come on we got stuff to do " babyjoe said walking off towards the front doors

"mane i don't feel like talking shit is some bull i expected more from her and the last thing i wanted to hear is a fucking rapper getting her pregnant! i wanted to see her go off to college be better than me" joe said

i don't even know what to say because joe don't even know me and lay had a thing better yet he don't even know she was pregnant before..

"liyah?" i said walking in the room

"hey" she said with a raspy voice

"you okay? how you feeling?" i asked

"i'm okay i'm just tired" she said

"you know um... well mom and dad know that y-

"who is the baby father?" dad said walking in the room with mom behind him

"is it that damn rapper boy?" mom asked

"y'all didn't even ask her was fine" i said

"stay out of this nari" mom said

"i'm sorry if i disappointed y'all but i'm still going to go to school and go after my career it's gonna be harder because i got somebody that i got to look after but i'm fine with that" liyah said

"so you plan on keeping it?" dad asked

"yes i don't want to get r-

"so you think you grown??" mom said

"okay okay you guys come down let liyah get her some rest and will finish this conversation another time, i love you baby get some rest i don't need you stressing" grandma said

"i love you to grandma" liyah said

"but i'm not finish saying what i have to say" mom said

"i said come on!" grandma said walking out the room

my parents gave liyah a mean look and walked off

"just know that whatever your plan is i'm right here if you need me call me in the morning love you" i said giving her a hug before walking out
