while jisung was finishing his toast, his mom pulled over to the parking lot of the school. she powered the car off, which told jisung that they already arrived at school.

"alright, jisung sweety are you sure that i can take an extra shift tonight?" his mom asked.

"yes mom! i will be alright with miss lee. i think she likes me," jisung replied, chuckling lightly.

"okay, do you want me to walk you to the front?"

"no, its ok. ill see you at five!" jisung said happily.

he put his cup of milk down into the cup holder, grabbed his ninja turtles backpack, and ran out of the car. don't worry, the car wasn't that far to the front of the school.

class started normally. to be honest, jisung didn't really have friends. he only liked going to school to see miss lee after school and her snacks too. he really liked her homemade animal crackers.

skipping to what i wanna write because its 11pm and i want to lay in bed. :)

it was now after school, and jisung can finally see miss lee. he was really excited to tell her all the things he did today, or what he did in art, or what he learned today in math. so, he skipped and skipped and skipped, hell, almost tripped on the stairs.

jisung saw miss lee, grabbing soccer balls, hula hoops, and jump ropes out of the storage room.

"hi miss lee!" jisung chuckled while running to her. "can i help out with the equipment?"

"hi jisung, and sure! you can grab the dodgeballs."

he put his backpack down in a pile with a sign that says "kindergarten." a lot of kindergarteners didn't come to aftercare. it was probably him, miss lee's little son felix, and seungmin. they were his, "one day swings."

when you're in kindergarten, you mostly don't keep friends, or make them last, at least for jisung. he thought lee felix was different though. at least felix played tag with him, and kicking soccer balls back and forth. felix was always here until jisung had to leave, since miss lee had to stay with jisung until his mom came to pick him up.

when jisung saw felix go up to his mom, he waited politely to say hi.

felix walked up to him. waved hi, and sat by a wall until it was 3:20. 3:20 was probably jisung's favorite time, since thats when aftercare started.

more people started to show up, even first, second, and third graders came.

miss lee blowed a whistle.

"alright, listen up everyone!" she yelled.

everyone's heads turned to her.

"since today is a thursday, there are free snacks whenever you want it. just come up to me first and i will show them to you, okay?" she questioned. "alright! you know the rules, have fun. dont have too much fun though."

jisung and felix went to grab a soccer ball quickly, before the higher grades took it to actually use it properly. they didnt care though, as long as they had fun.

"so felix, um, are we like friends?" jisung asked.

"yeah! why is that a question we play like together everyday," felix answered.

"i dont know, i guess i never had many friends,"

"oh, well im your friend! and i guess seungmin is too! speaking of seungmin, he wont be here today because he had a dentist appointment. i told him to call me on his moms phone so he can tell me what happened."

"oh, okay." jisung replied.

they kicked the soccer ball back and forth. it honestly got boring, so they made a new rule where if the other person can catch the ball with their feet, they would move a step back every time.

"uhh jisung do you realize were like 15 feet away from each other?" felix asked. it was actually more like 6 feet, but he wasn't the best at math.

"you idiot were only like 8 feet apart. kick the ball!" jisung yelled.

felix kicked it. did jisung catch it? no. it went really really far.

it kept rolling.

and rolling.

until it reached where the second grade boys were playing.

"yOU IdIOT-" jisung cut himself off.

"GO GET IT! ITS UR TURN TO KICK IT" felix yelled.

jisung walked slowly to the place where the ball was at. but before he could get it, someone already had the soccer ball in their hands.

it was an older boy, perhaps 2 years older than him.

he was tall, really, really tall. he looked a lot like felix, at least the hair color.

he bent his legs to be jisung's height.

"hey, this your ball?" he said.

his voice was really low. well, for a 7 year old.

"um yeah! well, no. it's miss lees. well, its actually felix's because he donated the ball for aftercare! but-"

before jisung could say more, the ball was already in his hands, with another hand on his shoulder.

"felix is my younger brother, you know him?" the older asked.

"yeah! hes like my best friend, before seungmin." jisung said standing up.

"MINHO HURRY THE HECK UP I WANNA CONTINUE TAG AND YOURE IT!" the older's friend yelled across the field.

"can you shut up? like please just be it if you wanna play. im out of here." the older said, walking away. he was walking straight to felix, and jisung just followed him naturally.

it was about a 30 second walk to where felix was.

"mINho HEY-" felix yelled with a voicecrack.

minho giggled and looked at felix. "hi felix. your friend lost his ball?"

"yeah he was supposed to get it, why are you here?" felix asked.

"i want a juice box."

minho walked away with his basketball shorts, baggy shirt, and black nikes. he went to the snacks and grabbed a capri sun. he grabbed two. exactly two.

on his way back to where jisung and felix was, he poked a hole with a straw in one of the capri suns, tasting the juice from the bag.

and he handed one to jisung.

"drink it, you must be tired."

"tired from what? i just kick a ball back and forth." jisung asked minho.

"felix's ignorance." he said jokingly, running off.

"thats ur brother?" jisung asked.

"yeah? lee minho?" felix answered with a question.

"well i dont know his name, but wow, hes kinda cute."
