Anonymous is a hackivist organization that fights against injustices, but what you don't know is technically that statement is wrong because there is no Anonymous organization. When someone asked to join Anonymous, Anonymous reported that nobody could join because there is no Anonymous to join in the first place. It is not a group, it is not a cult, it is not a religion.
They dont even really believe in good or bad. They don't have a set ideology (i-de-ol-o-gy, a system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy.) They just fight for justice. In reality none of them even know eachother, hence the name "Anonymous."
Secondly, a lot of people have been saying that people are "pretending" to be Anonymous. But thats not true because Anonymous is not one person, not even a group. They are not a they, them, me, I, or it. They are just...there. So the people claiming to be Anonymous on multiple platforms could VERY WELL BE Anonymous. Anonymous aren't just hackers, they're people who walk among you in everyday life, fighting against injustice.
