Chapter Three :Helen's High School

Helen has successfully completed her middle school without any problem as she was a kid while studyin' in middle school. As we all know that people won't mess up with kids, the problem comes when the kid has reached his or her teenage.
Likewise, when Helen was a kid, her thoughts and ideas were accepted and encouraged by all people. But this is not the case when she reached her teenage because people think that after a kid has reached his or her teenage he or she will act according to their own desire. So, they keep on limiting the space given for them.
People often deny their opinions and point of view in order to have a control over them.
Most of the teenager, in such a situation, act as a puppet in the hands of those people. But kids like Helen, raise their voice against the denial and prove them that they have chosen the right way.

Helen stepping into her high school

Helen's pov:
Now, I'm gonna join my high school in a new school. Idk, why different thoughts are runnin' inside my head?
I'll not have any of my old friends. How will I go and speak to strangers? Will they even speak to me? How will I make friends? I'm gonna spend half of my day in a place where I have never been. Okay Helen, you can do it. Stay confident.

Helen's dad : hey sweetie, Are you ready for your first day of high school? I hope you are really excited to meet your new friends.
Helen: yes dad, I'm.( not really excited)
Helen's dad: what's wrong with you sweetie? Don't you feel happy going to a new place?
Helen: That's what I'm worried about, dad. Idk, how will my fellow mates react to me and will they be my friends?
Helen's dad: hey wonder girl, why are you thinkin' so much? People there will definitely love you. Wait and watch, you will come back from school very happily and tell me all your new friends names. (winking at her with a smile)
Helen: oh dad, love you <3. Thank you for making me feel confident. (gives him a tight hug)
Helen's dad: love you too sweetie. BTW, I'm sorry for not comin' with you today to your new school.
Helen: That's okay dad. Mom is there with you. I'll manage, you need not worry about it.
Helen's dad: okay ma'am, I'm taking my leave.
Helen: okay dad. See ya. Tata.
(* both smiles at each other*)

Helen and her mom reached her new school. It was a very big campus. Helen was very much impressed with her new school.

After parking their car, Helen and her mom headed to the main entrance. No parents were allowed to enter the block entrance unless they had principal's appointment. As Helen was a new student, her mom had the principal appointment. After checking the appointment, they security allowed them to enter the block.
Helen was a lil nervous as it was a new place for her.

Inside principal office :

(Helen opens the door)
Helen's mom: hello ma'am.
Principal: welcome ma'am, how can i help you.
(Helen's mom gives the appointment to the  principal)
Principal: Introduction mom: Yeah ma'am, I'm Helen's mom. Nice meeting you. I have come here to drop my daughter as its her first day this school.
Principal: okay ma'am, you need not worry about your daughter. We'll take care of her. For the first few weeks I'll personally guide her.
Helen's mom: Thank you so much ma'am. Okay then I'm taking my leave. See you ma'am
Principal : okay ma'am.
Helen's mom: okay sweetie, see you in the evening. Take care. Be good with  your teachers and classmates.
(they both hugs each other)

Principal took Helen to her class room and introduced her to her classmates and teachers.

The students there were very excited to see a few fellowmate. After seeing Helen, they all looked at each other's face. Then, they all stood up and clapped their hands to welcome her.
Helen became very happy as they all welcomed her cheerfully.

As it was the first day of school, the teacher called up the students and asked them to express their views on "freedom".
All the students came up with their thoughts and ideas but the teacher was not much satisfied.
Finally, Helen came up with her views.

Helen: freedom, generally, is having the ability to act or change without constraint. Something is 'free' if it can change easily and is not constrained in its present state. A person has freedom to do things that will not, in theory or practice, be prevented by other forces.

After listening to her, the teacher was very surprised as she spoke like a matured one. Everyone appreciated her and they came to know that she was very creative and open minded.

After that session, few of her fellow mates came to her and introduced themselves to her.

Sara: hey Helen, I'm sara. I was pretty impressed with the way you came up with your idea the very first day of school.
Helen: oh thanks Sara.
Sara: I'll help you with the notes and stuffs. You can be free with me. Now, we all are friends.
Helen: yeah sure, thanks. I was very worried about comin' to a new school. Thank god, i got friends like you.
Sara: You need not worry. We are here to help you. Okay guys, introduce ourselves to Helen.
Jack: Hi Helen, I'm Jackson. You can call you Jack. I'll help you with all the stuffs.
Helen: hi Jack. Thanks a ton.
Leah : hey Helen, I'm Leah. You can call me Lee. Love to be your new friend.
Helen: hi Lee. The feeling is mutual.
    *... Likewise, many came and introduced themselves to Helen... *
Helen was happy to the core. Sara, Jack and Lee became her close friends and made her feel comfortable. They also helped her in all the ways.

Days passed, weeks passed, Helen was happy to go to school and her marks were improved day by day. Her parents were also happy about her performance. Helen's friendship was also getting stronger and stronger day by day.
Helen began to participate in sports meet and cultural events actively. Thus, attracted all the people there. People who liked her only for her performance, after knowing about her started to like her for her character as well. This thing made her 3 senior girls feel jealous of Helen. They started creating bad stories about her and  tried to assassinate her character. But people were not ready to listen to their shits because Helen got a place in their hearts. Those girls were roasted because of Helen's pearly smile. So, they planned to weaken her.
