Y/n 's pov.
It was my birthday today. So i was very excited. This is my first birthday with my boyfriend Sehun. I thought he might arrange something special for me. I even told my friends that this year i m not gonna spend with them and instead would spend my birthday with my bf. I wish to make this year very special.
At midnight i didn't receive any birthday wishes from him when i opened my phone. I got a lot of wishes from my friends and colleagues instead. I was sad by then but i tried to cheer myself up. I thought to myself that maybe he must be planning a surprise tomorrow evening. So i happily went to sleep while thinking that thought.
In the morning i woke up around 8. I got many presents from my friends. I searched among all the presents to see if i could find his? But i found none. Again i was a bit disappointed but still i keep my chin up thinking about the evening surprise. In the afternoon i prepared a small party for the 2 of us only. I know it's weird for the brithday girl to set up the decoration all by myself. But my boyfriend is an idol and is a busy person. So i have to at least accept the situation. I did order the cake in advance for myself. In case if he runs in late. Nowadays he is busy for his 2nd SC MV shooting for the song " 1 bn views ". I also received birthday wishes from some of the members, except him. Then i started having bad thoughts that he migbt have forgotten it.
"Did he forget it already? Nono it can't be. Wait for the surprise ok y/n". I talked to myself.
Then suddenly the fone rings and the username which i wanted to call me came up.
I was very excited to see his call si i quickly pick up.
Y/n : hey baby.
Sehun : hi jagi. I hope u don't mind calling me now. I mean ur not busy aren't u?
Y/n : even if i m busy i wouldn't mind picking up my baby's call. Btw what's up?
Sehun : oh Jagi! I wanted to tell u i might be coming home late after midnight today. The shooting is not yet finished filming and the deadlines are coming near so we had to stay ivernight to finish the job. It's an order from SM.
Y/n : WHATTTTTTT?
Sehun : baby cool down i know u spent alone nowadays because i didn't soend much time with u. I m so sorry. But i promise i will make up with u okk.
Y/n : can i say something then?
Sehun : u can tell me anything bae?
Y/n : do u know what day today is?
Sehun : is it d/m/y. Thursday. I know it's neither our anniversary or my birthday lol. Why? Is it your birthday? I don't think its today? What's up with today?
Y/n : (tears were started to fall from my eyes. But i hold it up) nothing. Just asking nowadays i also forgot days n night because of my tight work schedule.
Sehun : haha babe r u getting menopause or something? Babe i had to go Chanyeol hyung is calling me. see ya soon . Luv u ♥️😘. Bye.
Then he hung up.
I then threw the phone on the sofa and started breaking down 😭😭😭😭... Then i never realised that i already went to sleep after crying for a while.
Then at 9 pm i woke up.
I then remembered everything. My face were still covered with dry tears .
I got up and took a shower. After showeri g, i sat down at the balcony while scrolling down on my fone. Some of ny friends were texting me n were asking me about the surprise party or presents that sehun had given to me. I lied to the. Saying that we r now busy rn n not to disturb us. Then i kept the fone on the table and look up at the view outside the balcony. I looked up at the sky. The stars were shining very bright today. Tears streamed down from my face. My live just forgot my birthday. Do u know how much painful it was for me? It really breaks my heart when the person u luv the most forgot the special day of yr life. Even the previous time , he even forgot about your anniversary with him. He had to apologize to u for weeks. But this time things were going out if control. U were patiently enduring all this stuff. But now your patience has reached its exhaustion level.
Meanwhile.
Sehun's pov.
It's 10 pm here. During our last call i wonder why y/n ask me what day today is? I hope there is nothing special today. I was busy scrolling on my Ig account when suddenly Chanyeol said something unexpected to me.
Chanyeol : sehun ah aren't u going home early? Why r u here till now?
Sehun: what's wrong with me here until now? I thought the kast day of shooting is today. We were gonna finish it soon? Wae? What's going on?
Chanyeol : yah dont tell me u forgot your own gf's birthday. I never saw u even wishing her or ordering her cake or something. R u sure she is ok rn?
I just flinched and got up quickly.
Sehun : BOAAAAAAAAAAA AHHHHHHHH IT'S TODAYYY I JUST FORGOT TTTTT ABOUT IT. III MMM DEAD HYUNG..
I then ran towards the door and shouted at everyone.
Sehun: CHANYEOL HYUNG TELL EVERYINE THAT WE WILL CINTINUE TOMORROW I HAVE AN EMERGENCY NOW....
Then Chanyeol throw a boquet to me and said " tell her it's for her from u arsoo. Goooo noww"
Sehun : gee txs Chanyeol..
I grabbed the boquet and ran out of the shooting place. And i drive as fast as i could to reach our apartment. "I m dead3".
