The sound of shattering glass pierces across the halls. You just woke up from hearing screaming and explosions, next thing you knew, you are running through chaos. The familiar sound of sabers being drawn and swung around is heard, followed by the hurling screams of your friends.
You can't even begin to process what's happening, all you know if that you must escape. Explosions from fire and gas meeting can be heard all around the building. And all the common exit routes are blocked by fallen debris. Clenching to your light saber, as you turn into the next corridor, you see a hole in a wall: An escape. 'This way!!' you scream as you turn around to see some of your peers behind running towards you, In the embers and smoke, a light saber is drawn behind them. A tall figure stands. You recognize him, it's Ben, one of the older trainees. 'Quick guys, the fire is-' but before you finish your sentence, Ben draws his saber and strikes your peers. One by one, dashing through the corridor.
He steps slowly towards you, and your gazes meet. His eyes were wide with rage, huffing and gripping on his saber, his tunic covered in blood and ash smudges. He caused this, didn't he. But why? The confusion clouded your mind as you looked up at him shakily, aren't jedis supposed to be heros? What happened to Ben? As he drew his saber, you snapped back to reality and rolled away from him, and ran to the exit. The cracking of the walls echoed near you, the building was going to collapse on the exit if you didn't hurry. Ben drew his saber once more and slashed at your back, propelling your body out the exit as the walls collapsed.
As you rolled down the sandy hill, and slowly raised your upper head to see the damage; the Skywalker jedi temple was in flames. The place you were raised, your friends, all gone. Your back was sizzling and burning, the pain was atrocious.
Your painful screams fill the air as your grip onto the sand. Your peers' screams echoed in the night. Ben's wrathful howls clouded your mind, and as you clenched your eyes shut-
'FUCK' You sat up from your bed, covered in sweat, and began to cry. 'y/n... nightmare again?'
