1: It Started Today

The day my father got married was  a special day.

Not only for him but for me too. You see my legitimate mother left my father and I, in my age of 9. It was 2 days before my birthday. Mom left suddenly, witnessing her go right before my eyes. Her last words to me was "I will come and get you when time's right." It has been 7 years.

Father wanted a family. Yes, he had me but he needed a wife too. I let him love again also marry. As a daughter, I want to see him happy and content.

Now, I am here in my father's wedding, where everything started.

" Kang Daein, please say a few words." The mc said giving the mic to me for a speech

" First of all, thank you for coming to the wedding of my father and soon to be mother. Hey Dad! Even if the road was steep also rocky. You still hanged in there for me. The struggle, you through the years made this great man standing beside the love of his life. I can witness that you are delighted with the choice , you've chosen. Taking my seat down while fixing my dress. Someone tapped me, turning to the person who caught my attention

" Yo! That was cool! Tell me what to do if the mc calls me." Mark asked me for help and a girl near her restraining her laugh. This will be my step brother.

" Say what you feel in your heart. " I replied then drinking water while glancing at Mark

" My brother doesn't have one though. How is that?" A girl asked me. Making me smile at the last gulp of my water

" Shut up, Mina!" Mark whispered shouted to his sibling

" Daein! You will change schools tommorrow! Isn't that great? You will be near our college. We will be able to take care of our dear baby!" Mina said excitedly with bright eyes

" I personally told the guards to let you in our campus! The three of us will go home together! Everything together!" Mark told me with a excited face

" Where is my school?" I asked them who were too excited

" Seoul International Highschool." Mina said spooning the cake into her mouth

" Both of us, we'll be in; Seoul's International College. It's like a twenty-five minute walk to from your school to the college campus." Mark explains smartly to me

" Really? I can walk there then!"
Suggesting to walk and honestly to use my new roller skates

"Will not allow you to walk." Mina replied sternly then looking at Mark for his approval

" Please! I will go straight to the campus! Walking is the best!"

" Daein wants to use her new roller skates. I will allow it but promise me and Mina that you will head to the campus. Of course if we have any extra classes, we will let you get food on the way or bring a friend." Mark told his condition
