Summer & Princeton

Skipping school!

-Roc POV-

I woke up about 6:00, I am depressed because I have nothing to do and no girlfriend. Plus my parents are bearly home because they always have a buiness trip. But anyway, I got out of bed and headed to the shower. After a long shower, I headed over to the closet and picked my outfit for the day. When I was done, I headed downstairs and got breakfast out the fridge. After breakfast I started to walk to school. While I was walking to my locker I bumped into this really cute girl.

"I'm sorry ma" I said while helping her pick up her books.

"Its Alright" she said.

She just picked up of her books and rushed away from me. That was weird. Anyway, I continued to walk to my locker. Then headed to class, when I walked in I saw the girl that I bumped into earlier.  I just sat down and tried to pay attention to the teacher, but I just couldn't. That girl was stuck on my mind all class. Finally, the bell rang, I rushed out class and started to follow the girl. When I got to I payed for my lunch and sat by the girl.

"Hi my name is Chresanto. Yours is?" I said trying to start a conversation.

She just looked up at me and stared at me then finally said something.

"My names Shanti" she said answering my question.

"Okay Shanti. Why did you run away from me when I tried to talk to you this morning." I said

"I'm not really used to talking to boys." Shanti said.

"Oh but you don't have to be shy around me, just be yourself." I said causing her to smile.

"Okay and thanks but I really have to go bye Chresanto." Shanti said while getting out of her seat.

"Wait! Can I have your number." I said hoping she would say yes.

"Um. Sure." She said.

She dialed her number into my phone and walked away. She is really pretty and I love her smile. I gotta tell the gang. Where is everyone today? The school feels so empty. Whatever, I just decided to skip school and go home and text Shanti. When I got home I ate some food and chatted with Shanti the whole day.
