Althea POV

I tried to fight off sleep that night but I couldn't and eventually I passed out and woke up with the sun streaming through the windows.

I still had no idea what I was going to do to get myself out of this mess. I don't know if they'll ask me to take my mask off but I doubted they would let me run around with a mask on, it would look too suspicious.

I needed to go home, I didn't know if he noticed that I was gone for so long but I knew it wouldn't be long. Too engrossed in my thoughts that I hadn't noticed that someone was in the room. It was a small old woman barely reaching my shoulders, with graying hair, and had a lovely pair of warm brown eyes.

❝Hello Miss, you are requested downstairs for breakfast.❞ She says with a timid voice and soft voice. I didn't know if I wanted to go down or not, but I didn't know what would happen if I didn't listen.

❝Alright, is there a change of clothes I could borrow?❞ I said, hoping she would lend me some because I didn't feel like staying in these clothes any longer.

❝Yes, of course. I'll be right back ma'am.❞ She said and left the room before I could even thank her.

In the meantime, I took full advantage of the shower and scrubbed off all the dirt and blood. I didn't know what would happen from here and what they would make me do but I didn't mind the fact that I didn't have to see that leach's face. It would give me time to heal, mentally.

But with Noah and his gang not too far from me, it seemed almost impossible.

hey guys! I'm back after like 2 years omg. it's been so long and looking back at this story, I'm not much of a fan anymore and i don't like how this book has been going but it's up to you guys! 

anyways short chapter, but I'm still getting into the groove so it'll get better.
