The next morning I woke up to my alarm going off at 6:45 am. I quickly turn the alarm off and turn my head back towards Max who is still fast asleep with one arm wrapped around my waist and the other holding onto my thigh. I smile and bring my hand up to his face and lightly trace over his eyebrow then over into his hair. He flinches slightly, but still stays asleep. I lean over and lightly kiss his cheek before unwrapping his arms from around me and quietly rolling out of bed. I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face before I walk out and walk across the room into our walk in closet. I get dressed in a pair of leggings and one of Max's sweatshirts since it's kind of chilly in LA right now, especially in the mornings. I then put on a pair of diamond earrings then go back to the bathroom to fix my hair and put it in a messy bun. I grab my phone and see it's about 7 am, so I walk back to the closet to put my shoes on before walking towards Max's side of the bed. I sit down at the edge of the bed and run my hand down his naked back since he's now sleeping on his stomach. I bring my hand up into his hair and back down his back before he finally turns his head and squints his eyes open.
"I'm heading out baby." I say smiling down at him.
"Okay. Are the kids still sleeping?" He asks and I nod while I continue rubbing his back.
"Yeah. They'll probably be up soon though." I say and he nods and let's out a yawn.
"Okay, when do you think you'll be home?" He asks.
"It shouldn't be long. My appointment is at eight, so probably around 9:30 or so with traffic." I answer and he nods.
"Okay, drive safe baby." He says and I smile.
"I will." I say bringing my hand to his cheek, then leaning down to kiss him.
"I love you baby." He says and I smile big.
"I love you too." I reply, pecking his lips a few more times before I stand up and walk out of the room and down the stairs. I grab my keys that are sitting on the kitchen counter as well as a granola bar and a water so I can eat something on the way. I then head out and get into my car and start driving towards the address that Maddie sent me last night. Once I get to the apartments I pull out my phone to text Maddie and tell her I'm here. Only a couple minutes later Maddie and her boyfriend Jaylen are walking towards my car.

They eventually make it up to the car and Jaylen opens up the passenger door for Maddie and I smile at how much of a gentlemen he is. He then gets in the backseat and greets me.
"Hey, thanks for coming over here to get us." He says and I smile at him in the rear view mirror.
"Of course." I say and I look over at Maddie briefly before I start driving to the doctors.
"You doing okay?" I ask her.
"Yeah, just nervous." She says and I smile.
"That's normal Mads. I'm here for you though, okay?" I tell her.
