With a unique affinity for water, these wolves rely greatly on using the rivers that flow throughout their territory for safety and food. Their coats adapted to their water centered lives, leaving the wolves with thin, water proof fur that does not drag them down when swimming, and that dries quickly in the hot sun of their desert-like surroundings. These wolves have lighter colored coats of brown and grey that help them blend in with sand and water stones.
Just like what this pack is known for, these wolves are honest and true to their word, going with the flow of life and not over complicating things. They usually don't meddle in other packs' business, and they instead prefer to live in the present and think things through when a problem arises, deciding how it will help or harm the pack and not really considering how it will affect the others. Because of their generally easy way of life and abundance of large game and river food, the Wolves of the River are not as tightly knit as others who have faced many obstacles, and when a major problem does arise, the pack is easily susceptible to disunity and friendly fire fighting. These wolves are also lenient to the general pack rules, and are not traditional.
