"Why're you looking so sad Bakublue?" My co-worker and self proclaimed "friend", Denki Kaminari, asked as he peeked over his cubicle.
"Go away," I muttered irritably, banging my keyboard in an attempt to reply to an email. "It's none of your business."
Pikachu pouted then disappeared and called out, "You don't have to be so mean!"
I scoffed and turned back to my screen to finish up work. But today, my brain is absolutely fried. It annoys me, sure, but I can't help it. For the past few weeks, my mind has been clogged with visions of something, or should I say, someone. They happen at random times of the day. Some right in the morning, some during lunch, and some when I go to bed.
In those visions I always see a man with a silhouette of distinguished spiked hair. His face was blurred but his smile always clear, bright, and radiating. What was my relation to him? I'm uncertain. But nonetheless, in those "dreams", we're always together. One time, we were sitting beside each other on this cliff, it was a brief memory, a flash almost. They're all like that. Just a flash and nothing more.
However this morning, this particular vision was different. It wasn't like that date on the cliff or walking on a beach, it was something much more haunting than that. From what I recalled, we were crossing a street of some sort. He walked slightly behind me, when suddenly a flash of green and headlights came into view. My vision was rushed, almost as if I had been pushed. As I fell forward there was a thud behind me, with the additional shrill screams as the scene faded to black.
For the whole day I've been thinking about it, the whole day I've been distressing over this tiny vision that could only be a mere delusion. I take off my glasses and bury my face into my hands with a groan. This is all fake, it's just some weird fantasy I have. It's not real.
I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Bakugou! It's lunch break, we're going to Aizawa's Cat Cafe, wanna come with?" Ashido, my other co-worker and so called "friend" appeared, holding up four kitten coupons. "Shinsou managed to steal some from the old man and let us keep it!"
"Come on, we want that cute little face of yours!" Sero, another annoying "friend", cooed.
I roll my eyes. "Leave me alone, I'm tired."
"Wahh, you said that yesterday~" Denki whined. "Come on, we'll even order you some coffee!"
That could be nice... Wait, what am I saying, I need alone time to get this Shitty Haired bastard off my mind.
I start to get up and take my coat off the chair. "I don't have time to think about that right now."
Mina pulled out her phone and swiped for a while before holding it up to my face. "Does that mean I have to tell Mrs. Wuffles you don't have time to think about her?"
