"Who does that,get pregnant in high school dosn't Zane of all people know what a condom is."said Trina.
"I know right, I mean don"t they think before they act."I said
"Guys i don't think we should talk about this, Im sure Katie is already getting enough torture from her parents." Molly remarked.
"I hear Zane isn't going to care for it."Trina whispered.
"Well i'd love to stay and chat girls but my mom said I have to be getting home." I said.
"well say hi to Derek for me." Molly said as she shot me a smile.
"Oh my god are you and Derek together." Trina asked
"Yeah, we have been together for like a year now." I said.
"why didn't i know this?"
"Probably because you got expelled and and we couldn't talk to you as much." Molly said.
I started walking home, when i noticed my phone started buzzing. I had gotten a text from my boyfriend Derek. It read "hey babe whatcha up to" I simply replied by saying "nothing just walking home." As our conversation grew deeper i realized i was at the front steps of my house.My parents love Derek, he had some trouble winning over my dad but after a few months my dad just gave up hating him to having monthly trips to car shows.My mother couldn't stress with me enough about safe sex. Its a very uncomfortable subject for me to discuss with my parents , especially that I've already been deflowered.
It happened two Weeks ago after a party he had at his house I had only had one drink everyone had left , i stayed to help him clean up, but ended up having sex instead.I was worried that he would act differently afterwords,and i was right. Even though he still talks and texts me. I can tell he has been acting differently. Were meeting up for dinner tomorrow.
"So how was school?" My mom asked.
"Same as always." I replied
"Did you talk to Derek today."
"Of course mom,hes my boyfriend."
"Calm your attitude, lately you've been acting very rude." She said
"Im going to my room." I said
I decided to log on to facebook when I saw i had a new message. It was from Derek, it said.
"hey Ally i really need to tell you something Ive tried holding it in but i cant anymore. That night when we had sex i forgot to use a condom, I was going to tell you at dinner but its eating me alive!"
I was terrified i couldn't be pregnant,Not after all the things Ive been saying about Katie being pregnant. My dreams of a education would be crushed,Derek might not be able to handle it,My parents would kick me out, and its possible the baby would have a terrible life!
