It Wasn't Love

I woke up to the big muscular arms cuddling me in a giant black room when I realize that I'm in New Orleans.

I'm in Klaus arms! I slowly turn around facing him so he doesn't wake up. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps, so innocent, so human. "You know staring is rude love." He said with his eye still closed but with a huge smirk across is face. " Hey! I thought you were asleep."

"Nope, I was up before you. I just didn't want to leave." He smirked as he tightened his arms around pulling me closer to his warm bare chest nestling in my hair as I nestled into his neck that smelled like his signature scent. Minty Pine.

After 45 minutes of pure cuddling in warmth their was a knock at the door.

"Caroline get up Ike to get ready to go shopping! I have everything planned we are going to have so much fun."  She yelled the last part as she walked down the stairs.

"Well I better go and get ready. So please let me up. Please." "Nice try with the please but your not getting up." "Please." "Nope"

"Nik, You bloody wanker let Care up so she can get ready or I'll snap your neck."

"Fine, better no harm will come to her."    He said as he slowly lifted his arms so I could escape. "Nik, no harm will come to me. I promise also I have a badass original girlfriend with a temper."

After I said that I scurried away fast and closed and locked the door so he couldn't join me in. After showering I did my hair and light pink makeup that went perfectly with my shirt floral sundress and black stilettos.

As I walk done the stairs I'm aware that Nik has raked my body head to toe but I don't care because I know that I'm now his and his alone but I still don't want to give him the ego boost so.

"Finally, we'll we better get going if we want to see all the shops." Rebekah said as she dragged me out the door.

"Okay honestly I am so happy that you are finally here with Nik. I knew you guys were meant for each other and I'm so excited because you are a like a best friend to me." "Aww, beks that so sweet and I feel the same exact way and like you always say us girls have got to stick together." She laughed at me trying to mimick her charming accent.

Once we finally got there we hoped out and started to shop. At one point we each had about 15 bags each when we finally sat down at a bar called Russo's.
"Hello Rebekah and..." I looked at the name tag it said Camille. "Ah, Camille this is Caroline and we would both like a bourbon."

"Wait your the Caroline! Like the one who Klaus would always wait for." She said with a little pang of jealousy in her voice as she set down the drinks. "Yes, I am."

"Interring." She heard Camille mutter under her breath as she walked away. But she pushed it away just a milk chocolate colored man cane u to her.

"Hello, I'm Marcel and I couldn't help but notice that your here with Rebekah." He smirked this very disturbing way. " Care we better get going." Rebekah announced as she took Caroline's hand and plopped a 20 on the bar. As they started walking away with their bags should couldn't help but feel Marcel's eyes rake over her backside. It was a very chilling feeling that she didn't appreciate.

They got in the car and sped home. But wanting to be out and about.

Once they got home Klaus was at the door."Hello love, sister, welcome back." He said as he let them pass up the stairs and into the hallway before he sped up and opened the door for Caroline. " Why thank you." "Anything for you love, how was your shopping trip?"

"It was good but then met this Marcel guy and he was so...evil looking." She giggled at the last part but then realized Klaus had a cold hard face. "Love, you need to stay away for him understand me please."

She thought about this and decided that she didn't want to fight him in this so she let it go. "Okay, I guess."

"You'll be fine love, I'll keep you safe after all you are the light to make darkness."
