~Hayes pov~

I've been spending nights and days at the hospital in Violets room for more than a week already. It's been 3 weeks...

She's not getting any better and neither am I.

I don't eat, I don't drink, and I hardly sleep because I'm afraid that if I do that, I won't see her wake up.

Cam is already out of the hospital. He was/is better than Violet. Because the drunk driver hit the passengers which was the place that Violet was sitting at. There for, Violet got more hurt than Cam.

Cameron and Nash have tried to get me to leave the hospital but I just yell at them and tell them to leave me alone. They bring food and clothes and everything I need. but I still don't eat.

the doctors say that if she doesn't wake up in a week, they are going to half to... you know... pull the plug and... She's going to uhh... die.

I'm so damn scared. I don't know what I'm going to do if she doesn't wake up. I talk to every day and night but she never wakes up.

there was a soft knock on the door and I groaned because I don't want anybody to be here with Violet and I. I know it's selfish but I just want everybody to leave us alone.

"I brought you a pb and j sandwich" my mom set it on the counter next to couch I've been 'sleeping' on. I already told Violets moms and my parents that we're dating because they were confused that I have been spending every night and day next to her hospital bed.

"I'm not hungry." I said plainly.

"When was the last time you ate?" my mom crossed her arms.

"That doesn't matter." I played with Violets hands.

"Umm yes it does. You haven't eaten in 24 hours! you must be starving!" she yelled at me.

"Mom please leave me alone. I'm not in the mood to argue right now!" I finally turned around to look at her.

"Your never in the mood to do anything! We are not just worried about Violet but we're worried about you too! You don't do anything but stay in the hospital literally 24-7! do you think Violet would be happy to see you like this? She'd be disappointed!" she yelled at me. Well that hurt...

"I promise I'll eat later." I muttered.

She sighed and when she finally left the room, Nash and Cam came in.

"What now?" I said under my breath.

"Hayes you have to get out for a bit..." I'm sick and tired of this conversation. "How about we go home and play some video games?" Nash suggested for the millionth time these past 3 weeks.

"Yea, it's not-" I cut Cam off "I know, I know it's not healthy for me to be here crying all the time" I mocked him. "Yea well guess what? I want to be here crying all day. I will not leave her until she wakes up so leave me alone and go home!" I yelled at them.

"Hayes, why won't you eat? We are starting to worry" Nash got closer to me and I covered my wrists with my sweater because I didn't want them to see the scars that mark my wrists. I hate myself. If Violet knew she would flip out. She's going to be so disappointed because she will obviously find out. How? I don't know but I'm sure she will.

"I'm scared that if I leave, I will miss her waking up. I don't want to risk that Nash... the doctors told me that if she doesn't wake up in a week, they are going to pull the plug. I'm so scared Nash look what I've done to myself she's going to hate me!" I sobbed as I showed them the scars on my wrists.

"Hayes" they both had tears in their eyes and I sobbed as they comforted me.

"She's going to be so disappointed. She's going to break up with me I know it! I hate myself!" I punched the couch multiple times as I sobbed.

"Don't say that Hayes, she loves you so much. She tells me all the time, it gets annoying sometimes." he chuckled earning a chuckle from me.

"Ahhhh there's the beautiful smile we wanted to see!" they cheered

"I love you guys and I'm sorry I've been so hard on you for that last 3 weeks it's just that I'm scared that Violet won't wak-" I was interrupted by Violet.

"Hayes?" she whispered.

"VIOLET!" I ran up to her and showered her with kisses.

"Go get the doctor and tell them that she woke up!" Cam demanded.

"Okay!" Nash ran out the door.

"How are you feeling princess?" I took her hand in mine while Cam took the other one.

"Everything hurts when I move" she closed her eyes.

"Ahhh look who's awake." the doctor said rather too calmly. "This young man has been here everyday waiting for you to wake up" he smiled at her and rested his hand on my shoulder.

She looked at me and smiled. "How long have I been in coma?" She scrunched her eyebrows.

"Three weeks..." Cam looked away.

"What?!" She talked a little louder.

"Do you remember what happened?" The doctor asked her.

"All I remember is a car driving really fast and then everything went black." she tried her best to remember.

The doctor sighed. "Okay we are going to check if everything is fine and if everything seems good she will be able to go home." he smile.

"Okay" Nash smiled. "C'mon guys lets go outside" he moshined for us to go outside.

I hesitated at first but Violet told me she would be okay.

"I'm going to call my mom and Sierra" Cam got his phone from his pocket and walked away.

"You good?" Nash asked.

"Good? I'm great my princess just woke up!" I had a huge smile on my face. "But... The scars Nash. What am I going to do?" I started to panic.

"If I were you, I wouldn't tell her right away. I would tell her when she's feeling better that way she won't have to stress more and while she's recovering, just wear hoodies so she won't see them." he shrugged.

"Yea, okay I'll do that thanks Nash. I smiled and sat down on the chairs outside of the room.

"My mom and Sierra are on their way" he sat next to Nash and we nodded.

A couple minutes later the doctor came out with a clipboard in his hands.

"Good news, Violet is allowed to go home but she has to be resting until she fully recovers. So no running around, no jumping on a trampoline, no going up and down stairs, and no putting stress on her or it'll make things worse. Do you guys have any questions?" He asked.

"Are their any foods that she can't eat?" Cam asked.

"No, she can eat whatever her little heart desires!" He tapped my nose playfully. I was kind of weirded out but I just smiled.

"Okay thanks doc" Cam smiled and the doctor left.

We went back into the room and I helped Violet get out of the hospital clothes and into some comfortable clothes that Cam brought her a while ago just incase she woke up.

"Ready to go home princess?" I helped her put her hoodie on.

"Yes I'm ready to go home and cuddle with you" she pecked my lips.

We walked out of the bathroom to find Sierra and Gina.

"Omg my beautiful baby girl!" Gina ran up to her and hugged her along with Sierra.

They stepped back and she looked at me with a worried expression.

"Don't worry, I told them we're are dating" I smiled at her and it looked like relief washed over her.

"Okay let's blow this popsicle stand!" Nash put his arm around Violet and we all left.
