Chapter 9

[Are We Us Now?]

I woke up at around 9 am, I groggy tumbled off my bed while attempted to get up. A Saturday morning so no classes. I finally managed after 10 minutes and made breakfast for myself and Passione who was already up and active.

After I packed myself a lunch I left for the train station.

After 20 minute ride to the gymnasium, I was finally inside. An old familiar smell, being here again brought back memories from middle school.

Anyways, I was here watch the games, not really for the team. That's more of an extra, I was to genuinely watch the games.

Playing volleyball is fun, but I like watching it better, the intensity, the crowd and the air.

I watched a couple games before taking a quick lunch break. Lo and behold Oikawa Tooru found me.

"Yahoo~! Y/n-chan did you come here to see my great skills?" The brown haired setter asked.

I looked at him, then went back to eating the lunch I made.

"Hey! Don't ignore me!"

"OI! Shittykawa! Stop bothering people!" Said a male with dark brown hair. I believe his name was Hajime Iwaizumi.

Tooru got hit by him and apologized for the both of them. But Tooru got out of his grasp.

"Iwa-chan! I'm not bothering her~ We were talking. Besides she's my cousin."

"Wait really?" The so called 'Iwa-chan' turned to me for confirmation.

"Sadly, yes. When I first met him I finally knew what pain was."

"Are you still mad about that one time I broke your stuff toy-"

"It wasn't just any stuff toy. It was a limited edition Solram. And also how do you accidentally put it in a blender?"

"I-..." I looked at the time.

"You have to go now, your game is soon."

"She's right, let's go." He grabbed the setter by the neck of his shirt and turned ti me before leaving. "But it was nice meeting you."

"Nice meeting you too, good luck."
And with that they left. Even though I knew they were going to win and face against us again.

It was a gut feeling.

It was 5 pm when I came back to the dorms, I was really hungry and I wanted to hangout with Eita. So I texted him.

_you_: Hey wna hang?

A couple minutes after I got a reply.

.semi.eita.: sure, where?

_you_: I want food
Can we go to Yujiro's?

.semi.eita.: ok, I'm at the front gates

_you_: Gimme 5 mins

Within that time I fed Passione and got ready and arrived at the front gate in 5 minutes.

We ate and chatted for a bit then headed back, on the back I looked at him and stopped in my tracks. Which caused him to stop in his.

"Hey, what's wro-"

I enveloped him in a hug as I buried my face into his chest. I don't know how I did it but I did, because if I didn't do this now, I don't think I would ever would.

He returned the hug, we were both silent the whole time, afte about a couple minutes I broke free.

"I thought I should tell you this." I said while my face was probably the temperature of the sun. "I-I, love you...um..yeah..heh."

I was looking at the floor furiously hoping we would still be friends even after this. Questioning why I even did this in the first place.

"Oh thank god I'm not the only one."

"Wait what-"

"F/n I'm in love with you too."

*F/n L/n.exe has stopped working*

Nowaynowaynowaynoway.

"Did I hear you right?"

"Yes, you did." He came up to me cupped my cheeks and said it to me again.

"I love you F/n L/n." Then as cliche as it was he kissed me, but I didn't mind. Oh I didn't mind at all, after he was the one I loved.
