Chapter 9:

******************************************************************************************

I was sitting next to Bella, since yesterday was a fieldtrip, I couldn't be with my Crystal yet. I let out a disappointed sigh.

Bella had me cornered, I was sitting at the edge of our table on the edge of my seat and our chairs were touching each other. I am so glad I fed before or else it would've been bad because her neck is very visible right now.

"So Edward, when are you going to tell me about the whole van thing?" Bella asks me quiet loudly making me sigh.

"I told you it was adrenaline rush, Bella and please be a little quieter." I wish I could disappear.

She groaned with a pout and started leaning her head on my bicep, "I'm not gonna tell anyone, I can keep a secret, Edward, c'monnnnn." She whined making me wanna bang my head on a wall.

Thankfully, I could still smell her sister's scent which was keeping me sane or I would've lost my mind. Bella's voice was getting shriller than usual which was starting to give me a headache.

Thankfully this was the last period before lunch, I could go to the bathroom and try to calm this headache down.

I rushed out as soon as I heard the bell ring, ignoring Bella's voice which was calling my name and went straight to the bathroom.

When I finally calmed down enough that I could go out again. So I went to the cafeteria and sat with my siblings, "You okay, Edward. I could feel your emotions." Jasper asked, looking concerned.

"Yes, I'm fine now, I was just feeling a bit overwhelmed." I reassured him and the rest of my family.

emmett was being dramatic as usual but I wasn't paying attention to the conversation of the humans since I was practically in heaven because of Crystal's scent, which helped me calm down better.

I was broken out of my trance when I smelled Bella's scent walking by me. I'm guessing she was going to get some food.

"Edward, you should go talk to her and apologise for yesterday." Alice said making Rose glare at her.

I sighed in defeat, "I suppose I should." I pouted, not wanting to be near Bella.

"Edible art." I did not know what to say but this seemed about right. Bella gasped and knocked down her apple when she heard my voice.

I caught the apple with my foot, kicked it up and caught it, "Bella," I said her name with a slight smile on my face.

"Thanks." She said while taking the apple from my hand, "You know, your mood swings are giving me a whiplash." She grabbed more veggies with a slight attitude in her voice.

I internally sighed, "I only said it would be better if we weren't friends, not that I didn't want to be."

"What does that mean?"

"It means if you were smart you'd know to stay away." I can hear Crystal's thoughts, she sounded jealous which made me smile internally.

"Okay, well let's say for arguments sake, that I'm not smart, would you tell me the truth?" She asked me while I stretched my arm to put on the salad bar.

"No, probably not, but I would like to hear your theories." I said quietly because I was curious again. I saw Bella glance back at her table making me look as well, Crystal is just so pretty.

"I have considered... radioactive spiders and kryptonite." She is said quietly, looking down.

"That's all superhero stuff," She nodded her head in confirmation, "Um but what if I'm not the hero, what if I'm the bad guy?"
