"How are you feeling right now? What did you feel at that moment? Has life changed overnight or are things pretty much the same?" Teera quipped incessantly, not-so-stealthily inching her phone closer.
"Argh," Hanirah grunted, swatting the much more slender girl aside.
"Painful?" Teera exhalled, trying a couple times before pushing past Hanirah's left arm to stand right smack in front of her face, or more accurately, her chest area, and look up. "-like your heart was dropping from the 45th floor, like rainclouds were stuck in your easophagus-"
Hanirah cut her off with a, "didn't know you were also annoying."
"Also?"
"No respect for personal space."
"Yeah, that, sorry," Teera apologized while simultaneously making a sorry attempt to move back.
Hanirah made a I'm-clearly-still-uncomfortable face and waited.
After many long seconds that felt like an eternity, Teera begrudgingly took a huge step back. With her newfound freedom, Hanirah turned around and tried to make a run for it.
"Aiyoo, just answer my question and I'll leave you alone laaaah," Teera shouted after her.
"Will you take responsibility, if the nasi lemak kat kantin habis and I hungry" Hanirah shouted back as she disappeared down the stairs.
