[ 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐄 : window to window. ]

It was the first time in weeks where Oikawa had woken up and had the urge to roll right back over.

He blinked slowly, eyelids still heavy with sleep. His hand came up instinctively to block the light pouring in from the gap through the curtains.

"It's Saturday, right?' he mumbled to himself, not having the willpower to reach over for his phone.

He laid still for a minute, contemplating whether or not it was worth getting up for.

The brunette decided against it, blowing his thick fringe out of his eyes. He glanced over his shoulder towards the large digital clock.

9:06 AM, the clock blinked with wide red characters.

Oikawa let out a small groan, rooting himself back into the comfort of his covers. "Too early,' he moaned, tossing a pillow over his head.

Soft breeze from the town over flowed into his room and tickled the tip of his nose, trying to coax a small sneeze out of him.

Spring had just arrived in Miyagi. After a long season of below-zero temperatures and wet snow, it had finally melted away, leaving behind thick-patches of newly nutured grass. It smelled of cherry blossom buds outside, leaving a warm feeling bubbling in the younger boys' stomach.

It also served a close reminder of what was close to come. His senior year was approaching fast, and he still hadn't figured out what he wanted yet.

Volleyball was a temporary part in his life, atleast for now. He already had scholarship offers from local universities, to notorious Ivy schools like Kyoto.

His future wasn't something that scared Oikawa, really. If something is meant to be, then it'll happen, right? He was more or less waiting for his call, perhaps a sign from up above that is coming.

That was the type of mindset his parents instilled into him, anyways. Not that it really mattered to him, he had other things on his mind that were more urgent.

A sudden harsh gust of wind had him letting out a small gasp, his frame tensing.

"Ack, it's freezing.' he whispered, wrapping his arms around himself. He ignored how chilly it suddenly got and squeezed his eyes shut, wiggling deeper into his patterned comforter.

Before he could get too comfortable, a soft knock was heard outside of his room. Without any answer, the door slid open and he felt his floors creak.
