Shaggy awoke. He sat up and looked around, not finding Scooby. There was no sign of his pal anywhere.

"Scoob? Scooby? Scooby-doo?" the teen called quietly.

He heard a sound from downstairs. Hoping that Scooby was just getting a midnight snack, Shaggy began to make his way to the lower level of the house.

A cool breeze drifted through the home, indicating that somewhere there was an open window. Reaching the bottom of the stairs, Shaggy saw the large silhouette of his best friend. The great dane's ears were drooping and his face remained fixated towards the sky. Shaggy could see all this in the moonlight filtering through the open window.

"Scoob?" he approached his friend, worry evident in his voice.

Scooby turned his head to Shaggy and let out a few sad whimpers.

"I know, Scoob. I miss them too." Shaggy comforted his best friend.
