suga enjoyed the weekends. there was no school, no volleyball and nothing much of importance besides a few chores, but he had already finished them, daichi finishing his as well.

daichi and suga decided to relax in the living room. daichi was shirtless, due to suga begging him for his hoodie. who was daichi to say no to that? cold.

well, he was cold either way. either cold hearted and with a sad pouty boyfriend, or the ac unit in the house would chill him to his bones, but at least his boyfriend would be cute and cuddly.

daichi turned on the television and grabbed a controller for the play station three. he held an extra up. "do you want to play something with me," he asked, looking through the games. "we have minecraft, little big planet, a ton of call of duty games."

suga sprawled along three couch and responded, "which little big planet?"

"two and three. where'd we put one?"

"did we lose one? dammit! that's the best one," suga groaned. he glanced over to daichi who shrugged, indifferent to the little big planet games.

"i could grab the wii from our room and plug it in down here. then we could play wii sports or something."

"that's too much work," suga said, "why don't you just play something?"

daichi met his eyes, "you sure? we could play black ops two."

"which one is that?"

"it's the call of duty game, ko. the one with the zombie mode you like."

bringing a hand to his hair and running through it, suga contemplated it for a second before saying, "no, i just wanna watch you play something." daichi shrugged, putting the extra controller back, then pulled a game from the rack. "what're you playing?"

"new vegas."

"the fallout game?"

"yep."

"what's the difference between the fallouts," suga asked as daichi put fallout new vegas in the ps3.

"the stories are different from game to game."

"which one is your favorite?"

daichi lifted suga's legs to sit and flopped on the other end of the couch, putting suga's legs in his lap.  he pondered for a second, then answered, "i can't pick between three and new vegas."

peeking over his phone occasionally, suga watched as daichi played. he was immersed in the game, leaning forward, his eyes focused on the screen, and mumbling occasionally. he was exploring the map, walking in nowhere in particular.

they both enjoyed fallout, but for different reasons.

daichi, of course, liked to play. he had fun saving towns from mutant monsters. when daichi played fallout, he wasn't strict to follow the main quest. exploring the open world aspect was fun, and he liked to wander and find the tiny things that the creators hid in the map. it felt all the more real and fulfilling when he finally did finish the game.
