'Late on my first day, I never would've thought something so unfortunate would've happened to me!' Korekiyo thought as he jogged on his way to school. He's had somewhat of a rough start, having visited the hospital last night for his sister and coming home late. Korekiyo also got some nightmares that kept him awake as well. It was only natural for this to have made him late. Korekiyo was disappointed at himself, wondering what his sister would say.

Korekiyo was disappointed because he couldn't take his time to take in the scenery, he wanted to stop and "smell the flowers". He was more of the observant type, after all. Korekiyo rushed on to the path of the school entrance, where a couple of students are still entering. Korekiyo finally slowed down, catching his breath as he looked around. High school, this is it.

'I wonder what would-' Korekiyo was snapped out of his thoughts.

"WATCH OUT!" A voice screamed, making Korekiyo instantly turn around. A girl was on a bike right behind him, her bike launching her off of it and onto Korekiyo. The two landed on the ground with a thud. Korekiyo opened his eyes to see another pair looking at him. The girl had beautiful (E/c) eyes, ones that captured a beauty Korekiyo hasn't seen. Korekiyo was captivated by the girls beauty, not knowing what to say or do. Korekiyo could feel his cheeks burn as he stared at the girl even more.

"I-I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going and-" Korekiyo didn't like to see this girl fuss over something so trivial. He had to calm her down with comforting words, but he didn't know what to say. Korekiyo was screaming at himself to say something, something that would assure this girl that he was okay. But nothing came out at all. Korekiyo opened his mouth to speak, but the girl wouldn't have known because he was wearing a mask. Before he could say anything, the bell signaling for class rang. The girl quickly got off of Korekiyo and struggled to get her bike up. Korekiyo sat up, missing the feeling of the girl on top of him. Korekiyo finally collected himself and stood up.

"Hey, it's okay-" Korekiyo cut himself off when he realized the girl was no longer there. He missed his chance, he blew it. Korekiyo was now even more disappointed in himself.

Korekiyo's day couldn't get any worse, could it? He ran inside, not wanting to be even more to class then he already was. He noticed the girl struggling to go to class as well, stopping to watch and observe her, Korekiyo hid behind a pillar and watched the girl. Korekiyo watched the girl walk into a classroom.

"(Y/n) (L/n)! You're late!" A teacher yelled. Korekiyo couldn't hear any more voices as the door was closed.

(Y/n) (L/n).

(Y/n).

What a...beautiful name. A captivating name, an interesting name. A name that really piqued Korekiyo's interest.

"(Y/n) (L/n)...I'll see you again." Korekiyo said aloud to himself, finally going to class.
