two years have passed since the minhee incident. life went on. jisung, though he was better, couldn't help but wonder if minhee lived or not. when he and suyong graduated, they lost contact with changbin and when he tried to visit the hospital she was in, the nurses said she already checked out.
it was like she disappeared. she was just gone. and soon enough, two years had passed.
it was just another normal day for han jisung. he got out of bed, ate breakfast with suyong and headed off to his college. but today, he decided to stop by at a coffee shop to grab a cup of iced americano.
when he entered the shop, he noticed a familiar face in the cafe from the corner of his eye.
it was her.
she was alive.
"seo minhee!" he shouted.
the woman turned her head to the person who called her name and stared at him with a curious expression.
"seo minhee! i finally found you!"
the woman gave him a soft smile and said:
"i think you have me confused for someone else."
because, yes, seo minhee did survive the disease, but at what cost?
