"My dad wants to meet you." Shoto spoke, resulting in a groan he could clearly feel against his chest.

"We already met. I dont need to see that ugly fucking pile of trash again." Katsuki said, his voice exuding little interest. He turned his head to face the TV better, his blonde spikes fluffing against Shotos chin.

"You never talked. It'll be one dinner."

"Sounds horrible."

While Shoto agreed on such, he still wanted his dad to meet Katsuki. He was his boyfriend after all, and he knew Katsuki wouldn't go without saying at least 10 insults. (Atleast!) He wanted to see if his dad would make an effort to be supportive, regardless of the words thrown at him. Honestly on top of it all, Shoto just wanted to have that classic family moment that everyone else does.

"Katsu-baby, please. I wanna see if he really is trying to change. I'll ask Fuyumi to give you her soba recipe." Shoto bribed, but not even a blink later Katsuki called him out.

"You just want me to make you soba." Katsuki took a couple seconds of silence till he continued "Fine. I'll go. Also, I do want that recipe."

Shoto chuckled, a silent thank you leaving his lips. To then be silenced by himself placing a sweet kiss on Katsuki's head, who laid right on his chest. Shoto felt the soft hair ruffle in his face and he really thought he was on cloud 9.

---------

The day was coming closer and Shoto could feel his own nerves coming on. For the most part Shoto still felt pretty at ease. Though the more he noticed his boyfriends nervous behavior, the more he himself got nervous.

Shoto never berated Katsuki to tell him that he was on edge. Shoto knew that would dent his pride. Even though Shoto had many advantages where he could help and comfort his boyfriend, without ruining the explosive boy's prideful nature. Shoto was still weary of which lines he could cross.

Though one advantage of being Katsukis boyfriend is Shotos ability to get close enough and learn his habits. For example, Shoto noticed that the blonde taps his foot when he becomes anxious. Most people throw it off as just angry little stomps, yet Shoto knows better.

Coincidentally his inner monologue was briefly interrupted by his boyfriend's foot tapping. (Unless he has been doing that for a while and Shoto was too absorbed in his thoughts to notice)

"What did you get for the pop quiz yesterday?" Shoto wrapped an arm around the other's waist. He approached lightly not wanting to just jump right into the deep conversation.

"98." Katsuki responded, obviously not paying too much attention to Shoto. (Or the tv)

"My dad said we will be eating at our house. He hired someone to cook." Shoto said, still trying to keep the conversation light. Shoto wasn't good at communicating, but he has learned a lot. He has been getting better at telling the difference between normal conversation topics, and more intense ones. (Which thankfully helped him avoid asking Uraraka if she was broke.)

"Whatever. Not like I care what he does, I just wanna get it over with." He scowls leaning into Shotos' side.

"Do you want him to like you?"

"The fuck did that question come from?"

Ok, maybe Shoto wasn't as good as he thought he was.

"I just mean-" Shoto thought for a second before he continued to speak. "If I ever meet your parents I would want them to like me. So, do you feel the same way about my father?"

Katsuki glared at him for a second till the tension in his shoulders wallowed away, and the obviously fake anger left his face.

"Not really. I care more about your mom's opinion than your shitty dads. Plus that bastard can choke on a dick for all I care."
