He has has a problem connecting with females ever sense his mom died.
He also has a form of ptsd and suffers from nightmares. These nightmares about his mother so often that he confuses them for real life.
When he has these nightmares he usually calls Craig or Tweek, sense they are usually the ones to be awake in the middle of the night, and talks to them about it and they help him through it.
He goes to therapy, aka talks with token and it actually helps him a lot. Token is the go to for advice.
Clyde has nightmares and dreams about his mother so often he confuses them for real life.
