Chapter 2

Nobody pov's:

Years past, Mason and lauren would go outside at midnight before it turned the 27 for there birthday. They would make hot coco and look at the stars. But that ended one night when lauren hadn't shown up and Mason stood outside with two cups of hot coco waiting for her mother. She waited and waited until the sun came out and that's when she gave up.

That was the first night in years that she hadn't slept.

"Happy birthday to me" Mason whispered to herself before falling asleep on her bed. She had just turned 9. When she woke up it was around 4:30pm, being up all night had exhausted her but she wanted her mom their.

She walked down stairs to see ally just walking in with a tiny box. Mason hurried to the top of the stairs and hid behind the wall and peeked over. Seeing her aunt climb up the stair. When ally made it up she was suprised to see Mason up and looking at her.

"Hi!" Ally said with a smile but frowned when the little girl didn't smile back. "I....uhm I brought you a gift for your birthday" ally went on.
Mason nodded and said a small 'thanks' and stood in her spot

"I know it's not big but I would really like if you'd wore it for me? It was my grandmothers necklace. She gave it to my mom who gave it to me and since I have boys and they are totally reckless I though It would be best to give it to my favorite niece" ally pulled out a gold necklace that said 'TRUST'.

"I'm your only niece" the little girl snapped at her and walked to her room, leaving a very stunned Latina. Ally followed her back to her room and saw that she was already in bed.

"Mason" ally sighed when she heard the little girl sniffle "let me take you out for some dinner today. My treat, we could even get some ice cream and go somewhere else you decide?" Ally rubbed the little girls back.

"Can we go to waffle house? And-and the movie?" Mason turned to her aunt.

"I love that idea. Come on, get dressed and meet me down stairs in 5" ally said with a wink standing up and leaving her room. Mason was excited that she got up and dressed in less than five minutes catching ally as she still descended from the stairs "and your ready"

"Can we get auntie alycia?" Mason looked at ally with bright green eyes.

"We can go by her house and see if she and Lindsey are available?" Ally smiled and earned a eager nod from the small girl.

When they got to the bottom ally yelled through the house over to her bestfriends "I'm taking Mason out to eat!"

"Alright"
"Bye" was what she earned from her friends. Ally furrowed her eyebrows as she took Mason's hand and lead her out the house. Mason got even more sad that they didn't even come and say 'bye' to her. Or even an 'I love you'.

When they got to the car she disobeyed ally and sat in the front of the car and looked over at her aunt "please just go" she crossed her arms and looked out the window as ally let out a heavy sigh.

They drove for 20 minutes and got to alycia's apartment. Mason's eyes widen with happiness when the Australian opened the door and Lindsey right behind her "oh hey munchkin. Happy birthday day, twin" alycia said crouching down "I was about to call your mom's"

Mason's face fell at the mention of her mom's but spoke "can you come with us to eat? And Lindsey?"

The Australian looked back at her girlfriend who nodded with a smile earning a squeal from the little girl "we sure can, twin. Let us grab our stuff and we can meet you at...."

"My car" ally said "I'll drop you guys off later" the two actors nodded as they headed back in and grabbed a hat with sunglasses, their purse and phone.
