There was a girl.

There was a girl,

she always laughed,

and smiled.

While on the inside,

she crumbled but hid it.

She didn't think,

about the consequences,

of her actions as she did them,

once the bottle hits the ground,

so does her body,

a few pills she drops,

as her world stops,

and her heart gives,

it's last pump.

Now she lies,

on the cold bathroom floor,

waiting for someone to come.

When mom comes home,

she goes check on her daughter,

but all she finds is an empty room,

she goes next to the bathroom,

as she opens the door,

a loud sob comes from her mother's mouth,

her knees buckle and she falls to the ground,

reaching for her now dead daughter,

there's nothing she can do now,

and she knows it,

she cries and cries,

she lost her little girl,

who had scars on her arms and soul,

and she didn't even notice.

She's gone and now people talk,

and say "There was a girl"...
