Riley pov:
It was Saturday, bright and sunny. I heard my phone beep various times before I woke up. It was Maya she texted me: hey, can I come over? I texted her back replying yes. I was really happy that she asked to come over. We haven't hung out recently.
Mayas pov: I got dressed, and ran out of the house. I was really happy to be with riley again. It's been so long because on that asshole Ranger Rick. I wanted to hang out with Riley last week, but she had a date with Bucky mc boing boing. I was so tired of her dating Lucas. In fact, I couldn't stand it. I almost felt..jealous.
Riley's pov: I was looking through a fashion magazine when I saw Maya come out of my window. "Hey riles" she said happily. Maya!!! I jumped and hugged her. I missed you so much. "Riley, it's Saturday, I talked to you yesterday at school." She replied. I know but I missed you so much. I said. "I know, I missed you too" Maya said.
Maya's pov:
When she hugged me, I felt a thousand butterflies suddenly enter my stomach. I couldn't...could I? Could I actually be in love with my best friend? No...impossible I thought. Riley and I talked for several hours (as usual, on the bay window). "Hey, Maya?" Riley said. Yeah? I replied. "Do you think that lucas actually loves me?" She asked. I felt really bad because I felt like saying no, you belong with me." I didn't know what to say.
