just a 𝑛𝑒𝑤 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙 who moved to new jersey. new state, new town, new school, new friends, new everything. but then comes across this boy who gives her mixed singles 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑎 𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑜. what he is really feeling ?
(also i forgot to mention 'julia' will also be starting school with 'aaliyah' as well <33 hope y'all are enjoying the story !)
i woke up to the sound of my alarm clock i then rolled over my bed and groaned and turned off my alarm. it was 7am on the dot "here we go again" i said to myself referring to my first day at passiac valley high. "julia wake up !" i then groaned again as i then got up and did the regular,went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, did my skin care etc etc. i then headed into my closet to pick out a cute outfit, this is what i came out with:

i wore this with small gold hoop earrings, & my everyday jewelry. i then left my hair wavy and brushed it out a bit, did some light makeup bc my makeup routine was very minimal anyways,
it consisted of: • a bit of conclear • blush • lip gloss/lip blam • highlighter if i feel fancy • & there was no need for mascara because i had minimal eyelashes extensions as well
after i got done with that and was finished getting ready, i sprayed my favorite perfume as i was heading downstairs to grab something on the go. jules was walking to school bc she made a couple of friends already and they wanted to walk together on the first day.
julia was already down stairs and was eating a banana as she waited for me. our parents were already gone as usual for work (docter stuff) and liam was too. my aunt susan (dads sister who also happens to live in nj) knew my parents were really busy people and she also knew me & julia were still busy with school, so she offered to take care of liam through the week and our parents would either pick him up on their way home or if it was a busy night for them she would drop him off at home with me & jules. me & julia were on our own by our selfs most of the time throughout the day because our parents were never home but they always kept us a promise they would try their best to make it for dinner, and that was all that really mattered. we understood they were busy, hardworking people. they have been for most of our lives and that's what we have always admired about them.

with white high top converse & ponytail with two strands of her hair on both sides of her ears 'ready ?' she asked i then shook my head grabbed a granola bar and our backpacks and headed out the door. we both went our separate ways as i headed to the bus stop and she started walking to meet up with her new friends.
as i was waiting for the bus stop i heard someone call out my name "aaliyah !!" and i quickly turned around i then saw kairi running up to me. "you take the bus too ?" he said as he was trying to catch up with his breath. "haha yeah first day" "wait holy shit so you're the new kid starting at passiac valley " "well yeah no shit haha how did you know " "well the word spreads here really quick and it's good to know now that i have busy buddy with me" we both then started boarding the bus and took seats next to eachother.
i could tell i was gunna be the closest with kairi already.
"do you need help to get around the school ?" he asked "no i think i'm good apparently some kid is gunna show me around" "ok suit yourself, see you around ?" "yeah definitely".
i then went into the school office to get my schedule "aaliyah brooke is that correct ?" the blonde office lady asked "yes that is correct" i said. "you also have a younger sister julia brooke who is starting today too who is a sophomore, correct ?" "yes that is correct as well". "ok well everything seems to be good then, now i want you you too sit here and wait for your student tour guide oh and also here is your schedule as well " "oh okay thank you so much" i said shooting a smile at her. "my pleasure".
julia got a head start that's why she wasn't in the office waiting anymore. but as a waited for my tour person to show up i saw a door open and my eyes were in shock. mattia. was going to be my tour guide. shit. i hope it's not awkward or anything ... but mattia then noticed who i was and recognized me almost instantly, the lovely office lady then came to introduce us. "mattia polibio this is .." "aaliyah" he said cutting her off ... "oh seems like you too already know eachother !" "haha but yes this is aaliyah brookes".

i was sitting in english class with the boys and then my teacher, mr.pedroza called me up while everyone was working on their work "yes mr.pedroza ?"i said asking slightly confused why he had called me up. "we have a new student coming in, may you please go to the office, the principal and office assistants requested you as their tour guide for today" "um sure ?" i said as i walked out the classroom. i mean i wasn't surprise i have good grades in on my classes, honor roll, on the varsity soccer team i was an overall good kid on campus. i was always called to do stuff like this normally, i've just delt with a few heartbreaks that's all ,so people classify me as a 'player' along with the rest of my friend group
another reason why we are so well know at our school is because we have all have a following on our social medias, so people think of us a some group of jocks but i swear were not. people either don't like us or think we're chill, there's never in a between for us. people always mistake us but i guess we've got used it by now individually and as a group
then i realized who the new kid was ... it was aaliyah.
