"No need to be embarrassed for what you did last night. It's fine." JeongYeon said to NaYeon who was sitting beside her resting her head on the desk.
"You don't mind it?" NaYeon mumbled and looked at her. JeongYeon shook her head.
"I know you didn't mean any of it. I'm a prankster but you're more than me. It was a great trick to scare me." JeongYeon said chuckling a bit.
"So, you think I was pranking you?"
"Of course. Why would you even love a girl? Like me? You deserve a very handsome guy like the one you had crush on, few years ago." JeongYeon said caressing NaYeon's hair. NaYeon grabbed JeongYeon's hand and kissed the back of it.
"When I said I love you...I was not lying. I really do love you. Be my girlfriend, JeongYeon." NaYeon said holding her hand tightly but JeongYeon yanked her hand back when she got what NaYeon meant.
"You're lying."
"I never lie and you know that. I can't hold this feeling anymore, Yoo JeongYeon."
"You're...you...are you gay?" JeongYeon asked finally in whisper tone.
"For you, I can be anything." NaYeon said smiling.
"Why are you doing this? I told you I'm straight and I thought you were too."
"I didn't want to bring this topic. I wanted to hide it forever but you insisted me for this." NaYeon said reaching for JeongYeon's hand but JeongYeon stopped her.
"You promised you can change the things for me. Then why, Yoo JeongYeon? Why can't you accept it?"
"I'm your best friend." JeongYeon said explaining her.
"That's even good. We don't need to waste time in knowing each other."
"Are you crazy?" JeongYeon shouted grabbing everyone's attention in the classroom. She bowed and got up from her seat.
"I can't and even if I can...I won't." JeongYeon said and left the classroom.
NaYeon sighed and buried her face in her arms supressing her tears. She didn't want to cry but her heart and her eyes betrayed her. She sobbed silently not wanting to let anyone know that because it was not good for her image as the president of the class.
