Will You Love me If I say the Truth?

Bhuminathan discharged Krishna and brought her to his house. Everyone came to look after her. Kamal stayed with her daily. Kaushik and Kamalee came whenever possible. Kathir resigned from the job. Everyone came to know about the truth. Even that person.

Everyone in the family was concerned about Krishna. Her distant nature was a big puzzle for them. She didn't speak to anyone except Bhuminathan. Whenever someone came to visit her, she acted like she was sleeping.

Kamal asked her directly, "Just say to our face to not come to your house. Don't act like this."

Kathir and Kaushik also asked her, "Why are you killing us like this?"

Krishna only gave an expressionless face as a reply. Kamalee cried daily thinking about her friend. Kamalee and Kaushik had not started their life.

When asked why, Kaushik said, "We will start our life only after seeing old Krishna. This life is because of her." He said of her decision.

No one tried to change his mind. Krishna was not aware of this. She decided to go back to her office.

Bhuminathan, "It's been just 2 days after discharge. Go after a week."

Krishna, "No, dad. I have work." she said in a low voice.

"I spoke with Jeeva. He didn't say anything about the work?"

"He didn't know about it. It's an important job. Senior called me."

"Why should you go? Can't Jeeva do it alone?", Bhuminathan asked. She didn't say a word and so he continued, "You stay here and take rest."

Krishna, "Why, dad? If I stay in the room one more day, I may die. Please." she shouted and went out without hearing the reply.

Morning in Surya's house...

Surya was in a hurry. He rushed to the dining table and said, "Januma...Breakfast."

"The breakfast is on the table. Take it if you want.", Januma replied.

This is not new to him. After Krishna went to her home, this became a common thing. So he just took the food and started eating. When Kamal came, Januma served him without a word. Surya just smiled to himself.

Kamal glared at him angrily and then started eating. But he could not stay silent. Kamal said, "What brother? Looks like you are so happy. You have sent away Kamalee. Now Krishna is also not here. Full of enjoyment?" Kamal asked sarcastically.

But Surya just stared back without a word.

Janaki asked Kamal, "How is Krishna now?"

Kamal, "She!... She is just showing her anger on him to everyone else. She didn't speak a single word to anyone. Now she went to the office. Bhumi pa was so sad...Bro, why did you stop eating? Eat well! She is just a stranger to you."

Surya just went to his room and laid on the bed. He thought to himself, "Why did everything turn out like this? Kamal...I care about Kamalee too. I even know that Kaushik and Kamalee had not started their life yet. Then my Krishna...I visited her daily in the hospital sneakily. She is not near me but my thoughts are only about her."

His thought was cut by the knock on the door. It was Kamal. Surya looked at him.

Kamal, "I want some things. Not yours. It's Krish's."

Kamal went to the cupboard and took the treasure box which Krishna protected. Surya looked at it with confusion.

Kamal, "What? It's all yours. Sometimes you lose items, right? She is the one who took it. That idiot Krishna. It's because of her uncontrollable love for you. But...You don't deserve that love. What did you say to her!? Now I am going to return this to her. Because it is a waste if it is with you." Kamal tried to move away but Surya's hand stopped him.

Surya, "Kamal...Please...Give it to me."

Kamal stood just like that and so he continued, "Kamal...Scold me however you want. But give this to me. I understand her. I did the wrong thing. Do whatever you want but don't give this back to her." he pleaded.

Kamal gave him a sad smile and said, "Is it one week? The love which you developed for a week is hurting you. That idiot has loved you for 7 years from the age of 17. She did everything for you. What do you think she felt like? In this one year marriage, what did you do for her?"

This was another shock for Surya.

Surya, "What? From the age of 17? Kamal...What are you saying."

Kamal mockingly asked, "Oh...You know anything?" Surya looked down in embarrassment.

He told him everything. How her love started...How she followed him...How she refused for the marriage at first...How Bhuminathan convinced her for Kamalee and Kaushik's sake and everything.

Kamal then said, "Not only that...She was crazy about you even after marriage. Do you remember that case after your company? She is the one who talked behind and made everything easier. But...In your dictionary...she did this all for your body?" he shouted and punched the table.

Surya started crying. All the walls he had built around him broke and feelings rushed outside.

Kamal at first was shocked, then angry. After some time he felt pity for his brother and so patted his back.
