Before we start the story, I think I should tell you how I came across it. I was taking photos of the land near a concentration camp when I stumbled and fell on the ground. I got up, brushed the snow off camera then turned around to see what I tripped over. Turns out it was a recorder half-buried in the ground. Wondering what it was doing out here, I picked it up and pressed the play button. When I did, a man's voice whom I later figured out was Viktor Faust, started telling a story. I sat there all night listening to him tell the story in German. I sat there for a good three hours, and when the story ended he said, "All of this is true, I buried it out here so that the Nazis couldn't find it. If you find this, tell the world what really happened." So, I got up, went back to America, then translated and wrote the story in English so the world could hear his story.
