"Of course I'm ready Mr. Kim." Jeongguk answered as he looked Mr. Kim in the eyes, challenging the man.

Mr. Kim let out a small chuckle before turning back to the door and knocking a weird rhythm. The door was suddenly pulled open to reveal a person in full body armor. They had a belt wrapped around their waist which held a few weapons and a set of handcuffs with some sort of huge gun on their back. This person was clearly a guard. The guard stepped out of the doorway which allowed the two men entry.

As they both walked into the room, Jeongguk's eyes couldn't help but wander around with both anxiety and curiosity. Jeongguk flinched as a loud slam was heard from behind, indicating that the guard had shut the door. Following that slam was an almost inaudible click.

This room was like the other experiment room; the only difference being that there was no glass to showcase the human experiments. The cells appeared to be pure metallic material, the only entrance of the cell was being protected by two guards with a large gun in their grasp.

"If you couldn't tell, these are the most guarded cells within the facility. there are about a hundred guards who work for this specific room alone. Half are working right now for the day shift and the other half will be switching out with them at 18:00 or 6:00 at night." Mr. Kim quickly explained with a tone of disinterest.

Jeongguk's brow rose as he glanced at the man. For someone who has a lot of authority over the place, he seems to be extremely bored and disinterested. How much is this man being paid? Clearly a lot if he continues to work in this "boring" yet dangerous environment.

Mr. Kim suddenly had a slight grin on his face, "Now these cells are made out of pure metal for a reason. These experiments are the most dangerous- they've either tried to break out or have gotten violent with my workers. When you evaluate these experiments, they will be cuffed on both their arms and legs. One of them will also have a metal collar wrapped tightly around their neck."

Jeongguk slowly nodded as he took in all of his superior's words. This whole situation was just a huge mess. Something is bound to go wrong.

"Guards at cell 123095, please prepare Subject V. They will be the first to meet Mr. Jeon." Mr. Kim had a sadistic smirk on his face as the request left his mouth.

Jeongguk's eyes widened as panic boiled in his stomach. It began to claw its way up his throat, making him want to throw up. Words were barely leaving his mouth, but when they did the words were broken and weak.

"I don't mean to be difficult but don't you think it's a bit too soon? I mean you have yet to tell me yourself about each and every experiment. Besides the paperwork I have no idea what each and every experiment is like- not even Subject V! There was barely any information about him- you're throwing me into a dangerous situation here!" Jeongguk yelled.

"Mr. Jeon, may I remind you that this isn't my fault. You were supposed to read the files, you were supposed to keep in mind every experiments' behavior and past interactions with workers- not me. So don't you dare tell me how to do my job when you can't even do yours." Mr Kim calmly spoke with a slight grin.

Jeongguk was staring at the man dumbfounded. Who does he think he is? Mr. Kim gave Jeongguk one final smirk before proceeding to walk away. He confidently made his way to the door they entered from without looking back.

Even as Mr. Kim left, Jeongguk was still in a state of shock. He usually would be prepared for this type of thing, but truth be told, he wasn't. Even when he read through all those files he didn't get enough information- especially on Subject V. He was supposed to talk to Mr. Kim and find out the experiments' triggers or any of their qualities that the files left out.

All Jeongguk knew about Subject V was that they were beyond dangerous. They were in a blank state where their mind wants to kill. They killed before, so no doubt they would try to kill him.

"Mr. Jeon please come to cell 123095." A mechanical echo sounded throughout the room.

Jeongguk quickly walked over to the exact cell. His confidence being pulled away piece by piece and finally falling apart like a house of cards when he stopped in front of the cell. The guard on the left took out a key card, waving it in front of the coder.

As the door unlocked the guard on the right pushed it open, allowing Jeongguk to make his way into the dark and freezing room.

As Jeongguk walked in, a shiver ran down his spine. The feeling of being watched took over his mind, causing Jeongguk to get paranoid. He felt as if he were a bunny who had stumbled upon wolf territory. He was petrified.

The slam of the door was heard and Jeongguk's head jerked towards the door. The cell was now being consumed by the darkness- but thanks to the now noticeably dim lighting, he could just barely see. He was about to make a run towards the door when his body froze.

And a loud inhuman growl echoed throughout the cell.
