Perfection.

The Calm Before the Storm.

My alarm, woke me out of my dreamy state. A grin crossed my face, today was the first day of school. I know what you're thinking, oh great a story about a nerd. But nope, that's not me. Nothing against them, but it's not me. Despite my non-nerd status, I was looking forward to school. Don't worry, I won't give you a speech about how fabulous my life is but if I'm perfectly honest it is pretty great. Two best friends who mean the world to me and a boyfriend who treats me like a princess. All I need in my beautiful little world. I shoved on some black skinnys and a baseball top with my converse, and did my hair before racing down the stairs and out the door.  I practically skipped the short walk to school, and soon found myself in front of the large wooden gates of Graytown school. 

"OMG Bella!" The screechy voice of my best friend surprised me as she tackled me to the ground. Addison Rhianne Shaw was a girly girl of around 5"4 with the voice of an angel.....I'm totally kidding, don't get me wrong I loved Addy and she could play the trombone like its nobody's business, but she could not sing to save her life. So when she starts a rendition of ' I will always love you' by Mariah Carey I immediately pulled her around the side of our old school building. 
"Jesus Addy chill out, you saw me yesterday!" I say covering my ears in case she decides to sing the next verse. She very violently pulls my hands of my ears and pulls into a hug, crying into my shoulder as she does. 
"Argh is bitch on her period again?" I smile at the voice of the third person in our brilliant trio.
"Dani!!" Addy cries, throwing herself into Dani's previously crossed arms. Faith Danielle Ray, also known as Dani as she completely hated her first name, was the complete opposite to Addy, her wardrobe consisting of band t-shirts instead of dresses and converse instead of heels, her chilled out persona completely contradicted Addy's dramatic one. Then there was me, Arabelle Rose Cartwright, known completely as Bella and only Bella.I was much calmer than Addy but nowhere near as calm as Dani. I was the middle man. Interlocking my arms with the girls, we very gracefully (meaning we knocked into three rubbish bins and Addy tripped over twice) into hell.

"- and that's when I told him, you cant just pee anywhere there's designated places for that!" I began to laugh at Addy's silly story when a pair of hands covered my eyes. 
"Guess who" whispered a warm voice that sent shivers down my spine. I knew immediately who it was. I jumped off the table I was previously perched on and into the arms of my brilliant boyfriend. Coltonon James Hayden and I had been dating for the past 8 months. We had been best friends before that for as long as I could remember. After our loving embrace he went on to greet my friends. I greeted the rest of Colton's friends Cody, Jordan and Brent with warm hugs before sitting back in my seat, a warm smile taking over my face. I knew nothing wouldn't have changed over summer, this was only Graytown after all.
