Chapter 4 Dancing Night

(1 week after chapter 3)

Peashooter's pov

I was called in the middle of breakfast by sunflower asking me for some type of double couple dancing contest she says she was invited by vanessa to it and wants us to join them. basicly double date but we are not dating well sunflower and i are not dating. 

pete and vanessa they have been really close to eachother since last week soo yeah he got what he wanted. anyway past a few hours i forgot that i don't have something fancy to wear soo i went to some store and bought a bowtie inside the store i saw sunflower buying a white dress and said "hello"

Sunflower: oh hi didn't notice you there. nice bowtie you buying

Peashooter: thanks. that dress looks really nice you will look wonderful in it

Sunflower: see you later!

after getting to my house i tried on the bowtie it looked nice but i need a hat. i found an old black top hat it matched the bowtie soo why not. 

Pete: don't ruin this for us you understand?

Peashooter: yeah whatever man you can go dance with your girlfriend. i wont set the place on fire

Pete: are you jealous that i have a girlfriend and you don't?

Peashooter: to be nice. i don't care about it

Pete: anyway i'm gonna buy something to eat before the dancing competition

Peashooter: okay i'm gonna just play some videogames meanwhile

Pete: okay. want something?

Peashooter: uuh a small bag of chips

Pete: yeah see you later dude

after he leaves i start playing some games but i was kinda scared of being watched by a crowd of plants. i'm not much of a dancer but sunflower and me can figure something out

soo we go in and while the other people are dancing. me and sunflower are thinking about what we should do. we have a good plan but i don't really know how to dance but we will do it

it's our turn now

in the first moves i did pretty good but the floor was kinda wet so i almost fell in front of the judges but i didn't. it's going really well and we get to the end but the end was boring and we need a high score to win so decided to improvise a little bit. i kiss her and carry her like a princess to the green room she wasn't expecting it in fact she was really suprised.

Peashooter: hey sorry for kissing you but we needed more points soo i thought that was a good dramatic ending 

i noticed that sunflower was blushing hard 

Peashooter: i really catched you by suprise didn't i?

Sunflower:ye-yeah d-don't do that anymore i-idiot 

she was giggling as she said that 

Peashooter: well i wont do that anymore but we needed something that made it more interesting.plus it was really short kiss don't worry it wont happen again

Sunflower: o-okay it just c-catched me by suprise. i wonder how a-are vanessa and pete doing

Peashooter: they will be fine don't worry buddy. want something to eat?. you seem hungry

Sunflower:yeah. what did you brought with you

Peashooter: a bag of chips 

Sunflower: well let's share 

after eating the chips we started talking

Peashooter: anyways how was your day

Sunflower: great. this dress is really comfy an-

she was about to say something when pete and vanessa enter the room

Peashooter: hi are you guys okay

Vanessa: yes we are okay. just really tired

Pete: we tried our best. but i don't think we can beat the other couples

Vanessa: don't worry we are gonna win

Peashooter: why don't we just relax. and just play some game or something like that. until the other like 10 couples finish

After an hour of waiting we won! and uuh yeah we got some money. like 50 to everyone and i might buy something. Sunflower,Pete are going with vanessa to her home. while i'm gonna go to my house.

while i was walking i saw a shadow flower falling flat on her face i decide to help her get up 

Shadow flower: thanks for helping. wait are you the guy from that dancing thing a few hours ago?

Peashooter: yeah. why are you asking?

Shadow flower: i want to know how was preparation. the green rooms and that kinda stuff

Peashooter: the green room had some armchairs and a sofa with a mirror and some lamps

Shadow flower: interesting. you and that sunflower were dating?

Peashooter: no. what's your name?

Shadow flower: i'm Lizzy but you can call me liz

Peashooter: well my name is peashooter but you can call me pea

Lizzy: you can have my number if you want so we can be friends

Peashooter: okay what's your number then?

Lizzy: let me write it down uuh. do you have a paper or something?

Peashooter: well no but you can write it in my pod

Lizzy: oh okay. there you go 

Peashooter: see you later liz!

Lizzy: bye!

after some time i get to my home and put the number in and just put "hi are you lizzy?". i will  go to wash my pods and make something to eat. while i was eating i check on my phone and lizzy answered saying that it was her we chatted a little bit and she said if i wanted to go see a movie with her tomorrow. i said okay i'm going to sleep for now
