Part 15: worried girlfriend

Dami POV :

I've got used to Jiu being late. And I know she didn't have time to eat breakfast so I just got her a simple coffee.

"Did I miss anything?"

Now she is asking me what happened? How is this girl the CEO. Always late I do most of the work.

"Just all the work I had to do."

She looks at me with worried eyes. I think she is hoping that I didn't do all the work.

"I'm so sorry you had to do all that by yourself."

Its nice just sitting alone and doing something. And its nice not having Gahyeon here all the time.

"Its okay"

Jiu phone is ringing. She doesn't get calls at work that wierd.

"Let me take this."

I look at jiu as she leave's. Now I go back to what I was doing.

"Dami-ah?"

A familiar voice. Only one person calls me Dami-ah. And that is Gahyeon.

"Gahyeon?"

Even if I know its her I just wanna make sure.

Now I ask myself. Why is she here. Something bad happened to her. I really have no idea.

"Can we talk about something?"

I look up at her. She looks worried about something. And I guess I have time.

"Sure"

I can only talk to her until jiu comes back. We have alot of work.

"I think you should find another job."

What? Why is she thinking? I have this job to help her out. Not just that but to pay for her college. And she wants me to quit? I can't believe her.

"What?! Why?!"

She looks at me like she knew that I would react like that.

"You're just working to hard. Can you find a more chill job?"

Is this really the reason why she want me to quit? I just don't understand.

"Are you serious?"

I feel like she's not telling me the real reason why she is asking me to quit.

"Is that the real reason."

She truned away like trying to hide her face expressions from me.

I get up from my chair and go over to Gahyeon. I grab her hand.

"You can tell me you know."

I'm trying to convince her to tell me the truth.

"I don't like Jiu."

Wait a minute that's why?

"I DONT LIKE HER!  The way she looks at you its obvious she likes you. And the thought of you being with her all day. I just hate her."

I didn't know she felt that way. Jiu likes me? But jiu and me are just friends right?

"Get out!"

Me and Gahyeon look over to the door. There Jiu was standing. She heared what Gahyeon said.

I look back at Gahyeon and she looked mad.

"FINE!"

Gahyeon walk towards jiu and stopped and told her something.

"But if you try to get Dami away from me you are going to be sorry."

I don't know what got over her. She never is like this.

"Jiu are you okay?"
