-Marinette POV-

beep beep beep beep beep

"Huh... What time is it?"

"8:30?! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AT SCHOOL AN HOUR AGO!"

"Why didn't you wake me up Tikki? Now I'm late!"

"Sorry Marinette, us kwamis have many responsibilities, but keeping track of time is not one of them." Said the Ladybug kwami

Marinette grabbed her bag, put Tikki in her pocket purse, and rushed out the door.

The girl ran like lightning to school and into class, luckily her house is only a few blocks away.

"And thats how you end up getting--" Mrs Bustier was interrupted by the door opening fairly hard.

"I'm so sorry Mrs Bustier! My alarm wouldn't go off today for some reaso-"

"If you are going to come into class late again Marinette, please do it silently." You could really tell the teacher was annoyed by the tone of voice she had used.

"Yes ma'am...." Mari walked over to sit over by her friend, Alya who was giggling at her for coming in late for class the third day in a row.

"Oh hush up." Said Marinette giving her friend a look in the eye.

"Alright, fine- but only until class is over."

-Time skip to after class-

"Okay girl, you won't believe what happened to me last night!" Alya told Mari excitedly while walking to her locker.

"What happened?" Marinette asked but she really already knew what Alya was going to say.

"Ladybug noticed me! She even said she liked my blog!!" Alya looked like she had been blessed by an angel which made Mari feel happy.

"That's so awesome! I'm happy for you!" Marinette said not realizing the guy of her dreams was next to her.

"Hey Marinette!" Said Adrien

"AhHhH!" Mari said as she turned around, also noticing that her best friend winked at her and walked off.

'Great, she really just left me all alone with the guy of my dreams...' Marinette started spacing out so Adrien started waving his hand over her eyes.

"Oh s-sorry Adrien I sliced- I mean spaced out for a m-moment what did y-you need?" Mari managed to stutter as one of her awkward smiles appeared on her face.

"Actually I wanted to know if maybe I could go to your place to work on the project together!" Adrien said smoothly.

"M-my place? S-sure I have no problem w-with that at all! Said Marinette, still wondering how she could possibly be talking to him.

"Okay then! See you at 4!!" Adrien told Mari while walking off.

Alya came around the corner so Marinette knew she heard it all.

"GIRL! YOU JUST GOT YOURSELF A DATEE!"

"Well.... I wouldn't exactly call it a date...." Mari said awkwardly

"Shush! Don't ruin this moment!" Alya said, obviously happy for her friend, who of which was still shook he talked to her.

Ring ring ring ring ring

"That's the bell, see you after class." Alya told Marinette

Unfortunately, homeroom was the only class they had together.

Mari walked into science class on time for once and sat down next to Rose and Juleka.

"Hellooo!"

"Hi Marinette!" Both of the girls said

"Alright class quiet down so we can start the lesson, any questions regarding last nights homework?"

Chloe raised her hand.

"Yes, Mrs. Bourgeois?" Asked the teacher

"I had a terrible hair incident yesterday and it was just too much for me too handle, so I couldn't complete homework." Obviously it was a lie.

"Okay then, you can take a failing grade for an incomplete assignment." Said Ms Mendeleiev

"What?! I demand that you give me another night to finish it!" Said the bratty blonde

"You had one night and that's enough! Your final grade is a F." Ms Mendeleiev did not mess around when it came to Chloe Bourgeois.

Chloe pouted as the the teacher rambled on and on about chemicals.

"That's the bell!" Shouted Kim

"I expect to see everyone's homework tommorow!" Yelled the science teacher.

Alya saw Mari at her locker and ran over to her.

"You better be ready for that date of yours." She said winking at her friend.
