New Neighbour

Chapter 2

 Joe's POV 

The first time I saw her I could see pain in her eyes. I could see how annoyed she was. There were a bunch of guys surrounding her. That's when I realized they were harassing her. I got so mad .

I went and punched the guy in the face and kicked him everywhere I could. I could see her punching and kicking I have to say she was good but she could be better. And that's the first time I saw her. To be honest I didn't think I was going to see her again.

At around seven I decided I should go and say hi to my neighbours since I'm new here in town. So I decided to go to the house on the right first. I rang the doorbell but no one opened. Ok I guess they aren't here. Then I went to the house on my left and rang the doorbell.

And that's when I saw her again. Standing there with beautiful eyes, long blond hair. She was in a pair of t-shirt and what look like tights. And then there was a sudden shock in her eyes as she said " it's you, you are the one who saved me " I chuckle. Wow is it really that big of a deal.

To be honest I don't even know why I helped I just saw her there in the middle of guys and I knew I had to help. After she offered me to come inside I denied it at first but then went ahead. It's not like I have anything to do. After what seemed like hours of talking. I decided to head home. But I was shocked when she asked to stay for dinner.

No one has ever cared about me to even ask me to stay for dinner. From the first glance I knew she was a nice and caring girl. Maybe we can become friends now that we are going to the same school.

 Rain's POV

I woke up to the blaring noise of my stupid alarm. I looked at clock in front me saw I was late for my first day of senior year in high school.

I'm so excited. One year and I'm done with this hell of a place and him.

I go and take a quick shower then I dress up in my casual black jeans and a top with my lovely sneakers.

I go down to see my lovely drunken dad. Honestly I love my dad he is the only one I have left and I'm the only one he has left. My mom ditch us when I was 5 I don't quite remember her as much . But I really hate her. She's the reason my dad gets drunk. I have tried to stop him so much but he doesn't listen he says " it's an escape from all the bullshit in the world" it's just that when he is drunk he doesn't know what he is doing so some times he slaps or punch thinking it's someone else and not his Daughter. And when he is in his sober state he realizes what he done and apologizes.

All in all I love my dad no matter what. I see him laying down on the couch so I get a blanket to cover him up. And he's murmuring something but I ignore and get him an aspirin and water for when he wakes up knowing he will have a massive hangover. After I go and make myself a bowl of cereal I quickly eat it. And started making my way out the door just when I see joe ringing my doorbell.
