"Abbie, if you want to eat breakfast before the big day you better get up and get ready!" My dad yelled up the stairs.

He's the football coach and today is the first football game of my senior year. Everybody's been talking about it all week, we even decorated the halls, painted all the windows, and colored all the sidewalks with chalk. Let's just say that this is a big deal. We were undefeated last year and we plan on keeping it that way.

"Okay dad I'm up!"

I quickly get out of bed and walk to my bathroom. Once I'm inside I lock the door, get undressed, and get in the steaming hot shower. I stand there for a good two minutes before I remember that I'm running late and I don't have time to relax. I quickly wash my hair and body and then I shut the water off, get out, and dry off.

Once I'm all dried off I brush my teeth and then I go to my room and into my closet to pick out what to wear. I choose a pair of skinny jeans from Hollister and I wear one of our school t-shirts. My shirt doesn't really matter because I'm going to be wearing a jersey over top of it once I get to school anyways.

I can't wait for tonight. It's the first football game of my senior year and I can't wait. I just love the Friday night lights.

I'm all dressed and all I have left to do is my hair. I walk back into my bathroom and think for a minute about what to do. Because I don't have very much time left I decide to just brush it out and call it good. My hair is naturally wavy so it doesn't look that bad but I decide to take a hair tie with me just in case.

I grab my backpack and gray vans that I'm going to be wearing and I run downstairs really quick so I have time to eat.

I set all my stuff down by the door and go to the table where I see my mom, dad, and brother talking about tonight's game and an empty chair with a plate full of food in front of it. I sit down and begin to eat the bacon first, then the eggs, and then the toast. I drink the glass of OJ that my mom gave me and take all my dishes to the sink. I give my mom and dad a hug and then I run to get my stuff so I won't be late for school.

I quickly roll my jeans up a little and then I slip my vans on. I then grab my bag and run out the door to my car. I quickly start it and begin my drive to school.
