I hear all of their voices clashing against each other. How can they act like nothing happened? Did they not notice anything or do they just simply don't care? I want to scream! I want to just be far away from here as possible! I want to go home! "Ok class, today we're going to start with our Do Now's...." My tears were fighting their way out while I closed my eyes shut and tried to pay attention to the instructions that were being given to us. Every part of me was shaking and I just wanted it to stop. How can they be so calm? I did something bad and no one is affected by it. Shouldn't they be questioning me and telling me things? "...you have 30 minutes to write down a story about whatever you like. Good luck!" I hadn't noticed that everyone was now fixated on their papers, scribbling away. While scanning the room, I accidentally met eyes with her. I quickly put my head down, trembling from embarrassment. I hope she didn't notice. What was I supposed to be doing? I should've paid more attention. Idiot! Why can't you stop thinking about it? Grabbing the edges of my desk, I attempted to scoot it over to the side in the quietest way possible but it let out a loud screech. Shit. All the scribbling stopped for a moment. I could feel their stares, all of them sent chills down my back and triggered goosebumps on my skin. The atmosphere suddenly got sticky warm making it hard for me to even breathe. I slowly put my head down against my desk and grabbed my pencil with one hand trying to make the least noise as possible. I really don't know what to write about. I can't forget. I still have him in my mind. Banging my head against the desk wouldn't work so I had to think of another way to think. I know! I can write something related to a virus! The idea seemed so great, I felt like letting out a little yelp of joy. What actually came out was a tiny squeal followed by manic laughter. "What's so funny? ...it seems someone is having fun with their story" Crap. The stares put me back in my place as soon as felt them. Oki..how do I start it though? Maybe I can add a friend in it. My pencil scribbled fiercely as I wrote the story that will surely impress her. I really hoped it would.
~It was a morbid day...
Every student sat wrapped in chains at their desks as the teachers read out their contracts that each of them were forced to sign. They'd be deprived of their freedom until the clock struck four and all their energy would be drained out of them. As the dreaded time approached and the last of the contracts were read out thoroughly in came a vibrant person with vivid apparel which brightened up the whole world with just her voice. Every frown turned into a smile which disgusted the instructor and immediately sought out to end them with the snap of her ruler. The instructor demanded to know what the person wanted. The beautiful stranger let out a cry that saddened the hearts of anyone who was nearby. "What's wrong? Can't you see we're busy here? Come on! Just spit it out already! There was some sniffling followed by hiccups and a trail of tears upon her face. The instructor's expression went from stern to concerned in a matter of seconds. What was once a loud cackling voice turned into a smooth, sing-song sound that put everyone at ease and bewilderment at the same time. What had happened to our instructor? Why is she acting like this? "What ever is the matter, child? Won't you let me know what is troubling you?" The instructor slowly approached the stranger who's chest was heaving in and out, she wrapped her arms around her and held her in a warm embrace. It was such a beautiful moment not a pin drop could be heard. Once the stranger had collected herself she whispered "I-I f-f-forgot to get the exams for my class" After those words were said everything went to shit. The instructor's cold stare returned. She grabbed the stranger by her arm and threw her against the wall which ended up in her getting knocked out. Everyone gasped and feared for their lives. Lifting her dress up, she walked past the stranger and prepared to resume the torture the students would be submerged into. "Well... now let's begin with--" A girl proceeded to projectile vomit all over the student in front of her then burst out in tears. She started to babble, hoping it would help with what the instructor was going to do to her but instead she was set free. The girl was left baffled along with the rest of her classmates. "Um...M-Miss..i-i-is something wrong?" The poor girl stayed next to her desk as the instructor leaned towards her. "There's a virus going around. Won't you be a dear and go to the nurse's office? You might be infected." The girl's eyes widened and as she attempted to walk her legs went weak. Everyone stared at her, envying her but at the same time feeling pity. Lucky...it could've been me. Why didn't I get sick? I want to go home. All their thoughts were the same, they all wanted a way out. The girl again attempted to walk but her legs betrayed her. The instructor just looked down on her with a frightening smirk, enjoying the scene. Once she tired of the ongoing scene she sighed and grabbed the foul smelling kid who had been the girl's accidental target. "Ugh...must I do everything myself? *Grabs kid* You! You're going to accompany her to the Nurse's office since you also need to be checked." The child slid against the crisp floor, goosebumps rising on his skin taking quick, shallow breaths. Doom was written all over his face as well as relief. Every eye in the room was fixated on them. Such luck! Both children then scrambled off, fleeing the room as fast as they could. They felt warm when escaping from there, all the icy stares had gone away for once. But then he appeared...
His eyes stabbed them with each glance and defiled them of their innocence. Trying to avoid contact with him they proceed to walk away, only to hear footsteps behind them. Heavy breaths were heard with a guaranteed smirk accompanying them. The icyness came back onto them, holding them close as a way to assure them that where if they go they won't escape. An unearthly stench attacked their senses, stunning them from the inevitable danger behind them. A heavy hand lands on each of their shoulders to which each felt their skin scorch underneath. "Where are both of you going?"  He notices the stench lingering over the frightened girl's face and quickly lets go of them, wiping his hands on his shirt. "... I see. You must be infected. Well why don't I just accompany you both since we're headed to the same place?" Both children flinch once they feel his hands pushing them forward. He wouldn't let go... they'd be forced to be with him. The hallway suddenly became too long and their destination now seemed impossible to reach. Each step felt unreal like if they had hardly moved at all. Everything felt like icicles stabbing them, piercing through their skin and chilling their bones. Each bone felt frozen except for their spine, that actually burned enough to convince them that they'd have scars once they arrived. Upon reaching their destination, the aroma of sanitizers, medicine, and latex filled their nostrils; making them feel even more sick. Another power stench mixed in with the original setting, followed by the sight of a handful of souls covered in their own waste. Most where unresponsive and those who could respond stayed silent or whimpered in pain with the slightest sound. "Well...here we are. Sit down. Just relax and it'll be over before you know it"~
"Ok students, please turn in your papers when I walk past your desk" Wait! I'm not done! That wasn't 30 minutes, was it? The class erupted with noise as everyone talked about what they'd written down, waiting for this class period to be over. My eyes follow the teacher, counting down the minutes I have till she reaches my desk. In the meantime, I try rehearsing how I'll turn in my paper to her like if my life depended on it.  Like this! No...like this! Damnit! Just stop shaking please! "Can I have your paper please?"  *Long pause* At that moment my body betrays me and forgets how to move my hand, my throat closes in on me; leaving me breathless. " Can- is everything ok?" She stares at me worryingly, sending a rush of heat through me. React! Please just do something! Please make her stop staring! My hand moves slightly up shakily with my crumpled paper in it. "I-I'm f-fine." I feel like I'm about to lose it and my whole defense will come crashing down any moment. Legs wrapped tightly around one of the chair legs, biting deep into the inside of my cheek, (hoping this will somehow make me feel better), and tapping my pencil furiously against my desk. She stares longer until she feels assured that nothing is wrong, besides there's papers she needs to grade. Why'd she want to focus on an unordinary student like me? Please! Just leave! Her fading footsteps sending a sudden energy burst running through me. Sit still! You still got a few more minutes here! *Bell rings* oki... I was wrong. ... I mean, Yay!
Lots of jinlges, shoe squeaks, and non-stop chatter exit the classroom door as the teacher bids us goodbye. I quickly try to gather my pens and journals. No way am I going to be the last to leave! He might come over! Hurry and get your pens! One of my pens falls off my desk and rolls across the room. Shock and rage surge through me but since there's no time to lose I'd just have to get it and run out the classroom. Just as I'm about to put my plan in action something dreadful happens...
