~Prologue~

Wei Ying has always been a friendly person in school, characterized by a smile that is as warm as the sunshine and refreshing like the summer breeze. He's the adoptive son of the prominent Jiang family, always being the center of attention and loved by almost everyone he meets. Getting him the "most popular guy" title of his school, with his siblings and friends surrounding him he always feel like he's at the top of the world, yet sometimes at night he can feel like something is missing.

On the other hand there is Lan Zhan a reserved guy, always in the library reading alone, he's well known by his looks and his family name. Even though a lot of people know him because of his handsomeness no one dares to approach him, it's said that just a single of his glances could leave you frozen for days. But behind that cold attitude he hides a secret, that only his brother knows and that he swears to never let anyone else know.
