As today was 31st December,2019, just sometime to a new year,the lost pain struck her again. The same day, the same timing, 17 years back. She was a Master of Arts, had a degree in music but was married to a drunkard, a mere graduate. His parents had fooled her's. Though every happiness was lost , she still hoped for a better future,and did not tell anything to her parents. But that day, 31st December,2003 when the clock struck 12:00 midnight,she went his office to wish him, and heard him talking. She thought that the earth has slipped beneath her foot, because the man was talking to a lady. And the content of the conversation.......
I do not know but still know. She cried the whole night, looking at her 3 year old son,grabbed her cellphone to call her parents, but she did not want to make them sad. The man came,and was drunk that time as well, and then slept.
Perhaps he found it pointless to even give her an explanation.
17 years have passed, she lived as a living dead. And even now the man has not changed, she changed herself.
