The 501st is on a remote Outer Rim Planet on yet another campaign. You're on of the rare non-clone fieldmedics, and you managed to fall from a building while trying to reach a trooper on a nearby roof. Anakin threw Rex after you and proceeded to hold him with the force while you cling onto Rex.
"Don't worry, I got you!"
Rex is trying to sound reassuring but well, yeah.
"You got me?! Who- Who's got you?!"
You yell at him frightened. You didn't exactly see how he was able to hold you without falling himself. Meanwhile, Anakin stands on top of the building you stood on before, a smug grin on his face.
"Your welcome!"
You little motherfucker. You think. You like Rex. And Rex likes you. You both confessed your love for each other drunk of your asses at 79', but with the hangover the next morning and the fact that nobody recorded it, you only have telltales as 'proof', but you don't believe the boys on this one, so thats that.
"You wanna get back up here? We don't really have all the time in the world, you know. You can continue cuddling when we're back on the cruiser!"
Anakin yells down at you and Rex. You look at each other, then up at Anakin, then again at each other, laughing.
"Guess you have to get us back up. Or down, that is."
You yell back, still sticking as close to Rex as possible. While also hoping that he won't notice. wich is definitely a completely rational and logical thought. Note the irony.
"Gonna finish this shitshow first."
Rex mumbles under his breath, but you hear it anyways.
"So, you actually wanna cuddle instead? I'll get back on it once we're back."
You wink at him and his tan cheeks flush a beautiful chrimson red.
"If you want to, that is."
You smile warmly at him.
"I do. Now, like you said, let's finish this shitshow and then we can go home again."
A/N: Oh, is this an Update? Yes it is! I'm distinctly proud of myself that I updated at least something. So, have this shitty Rexter snippet. I'm not going to post this in my other book as well, i don't think the 'joke' works well in german. Anyways, hope you enjoyed!
